I just got back from getting one of the books I need for my WC: Russia course. I didn't realize that it was written by Stephen Cohen, the guy teaching the course. Damn professors...forcing their own books on us to read... It isn't as if they don't make enough money as it is.

Anyway, I bought groceries so I'd have some food to live off of since the whole dorm room is empty of anything (cleaned out before break).

My arms just wanna die since I've abused them in the last few days. Yesterday, with my heavy duffle bag and today carrying groceries.

But I'm still happy. Sherry has Boursin, her most favortist cheese! I love cheese and Boursin most of all. Their Garlic and Fine Herb version is heaven. I'm spreading it on crackers now... Absolutely to die for. So creamy, so garlicky, so smooth...so good...

Boursin is the best! Before, we bought a two pack at Costco (oh how I miss thee and thy free samples) for about $10. Everywhere else, it's usually $5-6 per pack of 5.2 ounces (really not that much). It's a pretty expensive chese. But the cheese store near my dorm has it for $1.50 per pack! Score! I am so gonna get more later. I already bought 3 packs. Sooo good... Must eat more!

And I got more tactics! Yes! I really love tactics and Kan-chan. Episode 7 is brilliant. Evil!Kan-chan came out to play.

Boursin Cheese

Classifications:

Type: Unripenned spiced triple creme
Milke: Cow. Pasteurised milk
Aspect: Cylinder of 150 gr.
Region: Eure

History:

The Boursin dairy was created in 1957 by Fran輟is Boursin at Croisy-sur-Eure (in the Eure department). In 1964 the Boursin cheese was created, this is a cousin of some of the traditional norman triple creme and unripened cheeses. Since the start it has been produced with pasteurised milk, creme and spices

The Boursin has always been a very innovative cheese. First of all, its aluminium cover easy to recognize was probably one of the reasons of the first success of that cheese. It was also the first cheese to advertise on the french TV in 1968. Its advertising slogan "Du pain, du vin et du boursin" (Bread, wine and Boursin) became one of the most famous of the french advertisement history.

Since 1983, the Boursin society belongs to the Unilever corporation.

edit x2: You know for a cheese spread, Boursin is damn crumbly...

But I still love it because it's very yummy.

And damn my arms are dead. They start to shake when I start lifting them...very bad when you're lifting crackers laden with yummy Boursin cheese on them. :( Type is kinda bad too so I'm gonna stop, watch anime and eat more yummy Boursin. :)
