More on Icons
Jun. 23rd, 2004 06:11 amWell I spent a while yesterday and I made some icons and I will probably make many many more. I have a good collection of Kimeru pics and I think I want to make an icon out of every one... And if I can just figure out how to do good screenshots of the Tenimyus (or just of anything because I wanna do some PoT related ones too), I'll be doing that too.
Anyway, here my newest additions...
I'm kinda surprised that it took me so long to do only three. But I did do the last one in about 15 mins so maybe I'm getting the hang of it? The last one is a joke though and in no way am I insulting Kimeru-sama since I would never NEVER EVER do something like that. I just remember a translation of one of his columns mentioning how one of the related people to Tenimyu had commented on Kimeru and had asked him that question. Kimeru's description of it was so funny about how it just kept on repeating in his head to a Japanese song that I don't really remember the name of. Anyway, I just had an urge, what can I say? And now that I think about it, I think it was "have you gotten fatter" instead of "have you gotten a little fatter." I think I was trying to lessen the blow a bit (and it looks visually more appealing this way).
I have a real trouble finding words to put on these things. I'm getting the hand of manipulating the words but the actual words... Not as good. I just couldn't think of anything to put on the first one and personally I think the second one is too wordy. The picture I chose for the second one is also a bit blurry so the words stand out a bit more but it's such a great photograph. I wish I could have bought it -- it was one of those photos being sold on Yahoo! Auctions Japan... *cries* It was beautiful! There was another set that I really wanted too. It was Kimeru in white! He was so cute from what I could see from it.
But enough on that. I finallly found Over Tomorrow! It's the ED to Sweat & Tears. I had no idea. And I sent it to Foxymegumi without realizing she had put it up last year. I feel like such a dope... At least she didn't get the rest of the Sora Takashis, something I now have all of too. :)
Last night was the season finale of Charmed on TNT. Since I don't have it on WB, I had to do with it a couple of weeks late. Chris died. I knew that. But I still cried for him. It's amazing. Just as I was getting used to having Chris around, he dies. It's such a shame! I was never a big fan of Chris or his character's actor's acting skills (geez, that's confusing) but I like the idea of his character. And then he had to go and have some really great interaction with Leo! Oh... I'll miss him.
I wonder what this means now? Since Leo killed Gideon he's probably not Elder material now... But can he be killed for something like this? Have his powers taken away? Does this mean Wyatt is safe since Gideon is not there to turn him? I just hope Chris' death was not meaningless... And you know what? They never told Piper... That's not going to go over very well when she's just gave birth to him. I want to read some fanfics! Especially how Leo is going to wrap his mind around something like this... He's a pacifist at heart and he's just lost his son. Ouch. Not good in any way.
I don't know why I do these little posts at 6 AM. I think they've almost become sorta ritualistic. It's a wonder I'm anything but sleepy since I just woke up and am probably going to go back to bed... I opened a song so I could display my newest song. It took me almost an hour to download it from Kazaa. It's such freaking great quality (577 kbps!) but it's a memory hog. But considering it's only 5 Mb it's not really that bad. It just could have been more around 3. But it's a great song and it's been so long since I wanted to listen to something that wasn't in Japanese and anime related.
I'm redownloading FMA 22. I'm pissed about that. Apparently the file is corrupted which makes me very upset. I just hope it was just a download snafu and not that the whole file on Streamload is corrupted and no matter how many times I download it, it'll always be the same. If that's so then I just wasted 170 of my download MBs. That would really suck since I only have about 200 left for this month after this download. I really wanted two more FMAs and now I might just have to redownload 22. If I end up having to do that then I'm probably going to break my trend of only A-Keep and ANBU fansubs... *makes a face* That makes a person like me who is so anal about things like that very uncomfortable. But no matter how uncomfortable I am, I'm not stupid. If it's fail twice, it's most likely going to do it a third time.
