Wonderful Days
Jul. 3rd, 2004 04:00 amI just got the new Purutabu to Kan song "Wonderuful Days" sung by all those rival boys. It's a really nice song actually. I would love to see the graphics that go along with this. I think it's the 7th? 8th? 9th? ending of PoT and there's supposed to be nine rivals singing in it.
It starts off with Atobe talking and then he in true Atobe fashion, he snaps his fingers and the song officially starts. He sings first and then I think it's Sengoku followed by Tachibana and then Sengoku again.
After Sengoku sings his second part it goes into this incredibly soft and soothing chorus sung by all the boys. It's truely the best part of the song.
Then it's individual rivals singing and for the life of me, I can't identify them. It's so hard, especially when I'm not totally sure who's singing in it altogether. I'm not even sure it's Sengoku and Tachibana who sing the second and third parts after Atobe. I know the first singer is Atobe because Atobe is my favorite character and if I got him wrong...Well, I couldn't.
The second one sounds like Sengoku but the one after the maybe Tachibana sounds more convincingly like Sengoku. He I'm sure is Sengoku. Would they put the same person so closely together? I don't know so I'm a little hesitant to say it's Sengoku in the first place.
At first I thought the third person was Sanada but it always bothered me because I thought Sanada had a deeper voice than that. Listening to it now, I'm still kinda leaning towards Sanada. But it could still be Tachibana. Man, I'm so confused! I need someone to identify all these people for me! The first guy to sing after the chorus might be Shinji though...
These boys together actually make a nice sound together. I only have the TV-edit of the song (and it's a little cut off on the end) but it's definitely enough to satisfy me for now. I really need the full version. I hope it comes out soon.
Speaking of coming out soon, Taka-san's and Ryoma's new albums should be out soon right? Isn't one of them already out? I really want to hear Taka-san's since I've always been a fan of Taka-san's voice and I always want a new Ryoma CD. I think it's really 2 CDs, right?
Anyway, I made $54 in tips today. That's incredible for me who really don't make any money in tips at all. It was a rather busy day so I was lucky I guess. I'm so Americanized -- I just made this money and I'm already going to be spending more than half to buy the complete set of Initial D DVDs. What can I say? I love Initial D. I really want to see the movie and 2nd Stage again and I haven't seen the Extra Stage in Japanese yet... I miss Sayuki and Mako's voices in the Cantonese dubs. I found a set that has all of them (save the Battle Stage but I don't need that one) for $30 on eBay. That's a lot cheaper than the $50+ sets out there. It's from HK so it'll be a bit before it gets here.
God, I'm tired. I'm going to sleep now. I'm downloading PoT 119 subbed by A-O but I can't say I'm very enthusiastic about watching it... I know they lose but I don't wanna see it happen! I wanna see Inui's match, Fuji's, RYOMA's! But I have to get through all those losing doubles... I feel bad for Kikumaru and Oishi though. It's too bad the Golden Pair had to lose. *makes a face* It feels kinda wrong. Not only that, I really want to see episodes 138-140. They're supposed to be REALLY, REALLY, REALLY GOOD and from hearing spoilers of them, I am desperately hoping no one will license PoT during AX. And it's this weekend! Ack! It's in danger! It better not get yanked while I'm downloading it. If it does get licensed, I seriously hope a rogue group will continue the fansub. I need it, badly. I must see Tezuka's return! And more Atobe! God, please don't make me have to download raws when I don't understand Japanese. That would just be too cruel. I mean, they didn't license HnG... Can't you let this one go too? Who would want to watch something like this? It's wildly popular in Japan but it's not like Pokemon or Digimon so don't expect the same things from PoT in America.
