Insane...

This is crazy...

I got 3rd Avenue North as my dorm. It's traditional as I wanted it but now I'm thinking I wanted to be around Washington Square! :( But Nadia is going to be there so that's always good... She's not my roommate (althought I don't know that officially yet) but she'll be in the building.

It seems like everyone likes the fact that they're in 3rd Ave. North but personally I don't see it... I'm going to have to research it some more... Damn, now I'll have to take the bus to class. Shit. That means getting up earlier than usual and have to beat the rush. Sherry's thinking she's walking home even though she's deathly afraid of being outside in NYC by herself.

Okay, I'm at nyu228 and I just don't freaking understand why people are so pumped about 3rd Avenue North. What the fuck is that? I'm starting to wish I got Weinstein of all dorms...

But they do have kitchens (which I did want) and it's air-conditioned. There's also cable and my wireless internet so I'm covered on that front (thank god I'll have that and if not there was going to be some hell to pay).

Hey there's also going to be a fitness center! Nya! Maybe I'll actually honor my stupid thoughts that I'll actually exercise some more... Okay, I'm feeling this place a little more.

I'm a bit worried about the 930 freaking undergrad students that are going to be living there though... Geez, that's a lot of people... Sherry is a shy girl -- people scare her. :\

I'm still feeling a bit anxious about the whole bus thing... I mean I have early classes (unfortunately). Which means I'm not allowed to dally and actually make me have to wake up and be on time...

Oh good god, I just found out the room and suite types at 3rd Ave. Shit. There's only 9 doubles. And there are 110 two bedroom apts w/ 2 people in each room, 4 people all together. Why am I experiencing such a large sinking feeling? Oh good god, I can understand why Nadia was not happy.

*cries* There are even 3 bedroom apts for five people! And for six people! I'm going to die.... Die and get killed... :( Why? Why me? Please let me get a double or at least no more than 3 other roommates! Please! *cross fingers* I don't think it's going to be possible... If not, at least let Nadia be one of the people I'll be rooming with.

You know any sense of happiness or that things would be okay pretty much got dashed when I read about the rooms.

There have been some good developments in my life though. I found sheets for the long dorm beds on eBay and I've gone through most of my ID DVDs. I worked through all the 2nd stage ones, the movie and the extra stage and now I'm going through the first stage.

I know, it's whacked that I'm doing the first stage last but I've seen it so many times that watching it first would have been boring. I just got through the first battle with Takumi and Keisuke (whom I just love to death but Ryosuke is much cooler) and the stuff after it is a bit annoying... It's Takumi and that Mogi at the beach and as much I think they're meant to be, I really don't want to watch it.

I'm getting Bleach! Yay! I got some chapters off mIRC and now I'm getting the latest releases so I'm happy. And d_moonchild pointed me towards some Gravitation scanlations so I'll be checking those out later.

Note: There are hard floors in the rooms. Must get shoes to wear in the apts.

This song I'm listing to is Ryuusei by TiA and is the new theme for Naruto. It's a lot different than what I expect but it's still a good song. It's a bit pop-y though and a bit unlike what I would expect a Naruto theme to be but whatever. I'll get the video later and see how it's like and all.

edit x3: Damn, I made a ton of freaking mistakes on this last entry. I went back and fixed most of them. There really is nothing like a good re-read of your own journal entries to make you feel like an absolute idiot.
