I RIPPED THE KIMERU DVD INTO AVI!!!

I'm so proud of myself that I can just burst right now.

It's pretty freaking big so I probably won't do anything with it but wow!!! I feel so happy. :) I'm a newbie to ripping DVDs but the quality... Wow... That's pretty good actually. Which explains why the whole thing is like 1.4 gig... O.o

But Sherry is happy she did it.l I could probably separate it with something...

Wow, I still can't believe I was able to do it. I mean, wow. I never thought I would be able to rip DVDs because it always seemed so hard...

I meant to do an essay today but I ripped a DVD instead. I know the system could crash tomorrow but I don't really care right now... I HAVE RIPPED A DVD!!!

They also split it into two files that are just able to fit into two DVDs so Diana, I will send those. :)

Next step: Find a way to compress those files cuz right now they're freaking huge and are taking up a ton of space on her computer. But still, it's very very cool. Does anyone have a good program for it? And/or a program to split the files? Onegai?

edit x1: Er, well, I guess I can encode it again... *thinks of the hours she's already spent on it* Okay not doing not until Chem. essay is done with. Or tomorrow night when I'm asleep...

I tried cooking today as well. It was an interesting experience to say the very least. I made a soup first (since I know fried rice would only gunk up my pot and I only have one pot) with the gai choy that I bought almost two weeks ago.

It was a very simple soup -- gai choy, some ginger (what's gai choy soup without ginger?) and some bok choy since I didn't have much gai choy left... ^_^" I ate most of it last night for dinner... I also put in some of the fish balls since I didn't have any meat in it... Besides, I needed to use those things anyways... They just seem to stay there... I still have about half of the original bag of it left... Besides, that I also put an egg in it. The soup turned out yummy. I put a lot of salt in it but apparently it still wasn't enough. It wasn't totally tasteless though.

I also tried to make fried rice again. I had some leftover rice from yesterday that I wanted to try making fried rice with. I used too little water yesterday so it was like the rice was too hard (on the point of me wondering if raw rice could kill someone who ate it).

Since I didn't think I had enough rice, I made a little bit more for the fried rice. While that rice was cooking, I cooked my first batch of rice. The fried rice turned out good actually. It was really pretty good. I don't know if it was because the rice was good for it or the fact that I made a tiny batch but it was good fried rice.

The next batch didn't turn out so well... There was more rice but it wasn't as bad as last time. I think it was the fact that the batch of rice was more that ended up influencing it because it seemed like it didn't have enough time to fry all the way...

But it still wasn't as bad as the first couple of fried rices I tried to make.

Okay, on the Kimeru ripping front. I tried cutting You Got Game? (live) for Diana and the video turns out to be upside down. :( I tried again and it turned out crappy. I don't know what else to do except to say, I will try to maybe turn it into a WMV file and hopefully it'll work that'll way. It'll probably be like, I don't know, Friday night before I have to get to it because tomorrow will be filled (hopefully with another anime meeting except I don't know where it is) and Friday afternoon will be spent with Xiao in Chinatown.

I'm trying to get another essay done (the other one finished, thank god) but it just seems like I'm full of essays this week.

And I'm re-encoding the Kimeru DVD into a more managable 500 MB. Hopefully that'll look okay...

I got Initial D: Fourth Stage 5&6! I'm so happy! I love Initial D! It was so very good, although I admit, I was kinda unsure as to who would win... I mean in order for Takumi to learn something, he'll have to lose and in order for that other guy (I think his name was Tomoyuki) to learn something, he'll have to lose as well and they both can't lose so... But Takumi won so yay! Sherry likes it when her genius, tensai main characters pull off a victory.

Huh, maybe that's why I liked seeing Ryoma win all those matches...

Anyway, I think that's it for today... Ja for now then...
