Wow, it's good.

It's really really good.

And some of it is in English! Good English! You can imagine my shock. I'm not used to good English pronounciation coming from these Japanese artists at all... No offense, but to me it seems like they're always butchering the words but Rie Fu is not bad at all.

Well, she's lived in America for a while and is now a student in London so...

(Sherry thinks about Akeboshi and how he's living in London now and how HE was never this good with his English.)

It's such a soft, soulful song....

I so can't wait to see the graphics that go with this. I mean I usually don't fully love a song until I see the graphics but I already love this song so must be saying something...

[livejournal.com profile] muscatlove has done a transcription of the song and now I feel stupid that I didn't notice most of it was in English... :( I just was like "Bleach ED?!" and ran from that. I love Bleach, so sue me. :)

Diana, you must listen to this. I think you'll like it. LOL, I feel like my blog is just a notice to Diana now. It's huge (11 MB) but Sherry will send over aim if you want...

Sherry is going to make congee (jook) for dinner. It seems like a good choice since she's feeling sick. Isn't it the standard Chinese response to sickness a nice jook? I can't decide on taro or a white jook with preserved duck eggs though...

Ugh...I slept six hours after lab (2 1/2 hours!) today... :( Still so tired and have chem and calculus homework to do... And a second draft for WTE... So much work. Will start on jook and then homework time...

I feel so bad... Whenever I'm sick, I always have this urge to scream to the world to make sure everyone knows I'm feeling crappy yet I don't think anyone would care here... Well, no one really cared at home but now no one really don't care. :(

*dies*

edit x1: *gasp* Diana, you deleted your journal?! O.o

That's petty.

So...

I made congee.

It turned out good.

It didn't burn.

It didn't boil over.

It looked right.

Problem: TOO SALTY

I failed to realize that putting in pieces of salty preserved turnip (I decided to do taro even though I had no potatoes to go with it) that it would end up adding all the salt the congee need and then some.

And then some after that.

And then some after that.

I had to put so much water into it just so that it would even be some what patable.

Next time: wash all the salt off. I forgot that's what we used to do back, back, back then...

*sigh* It was still pretty yummy.

I put in taro (some of the pieces were cooked totally soft so next time small pieces), some dried shrimp, some preserved turnip and that was about it...

I used chicken stock from a can -- there's some added sodium there too...

O.O

Off of the Nutrional Info on the bag of Salt Preserved Turnips:

Sodium - 208%

Yes, definitely washing them throughly next time. Very, very throughly.

I still feel sick... I'm more sick as in I have a cold now...

:(

I'm all alone... I feel so alone... :(

My roommate is asleep, Britany went home, Michelle is god knows where... I'm in the dark too! And I'm listening to "Life is a Boat" and everything is sad...

*blows her nose*

Damn runny nose...

It's 11 PM, I'm way awake, and I feel so alone and so unhappy! :( This is like worse case scenario now... I feel like this would be the best time to kill myself...except that would be icky and then I would be dead which would be really, really bad. But if I were suicidal, this would be the best time.

Damn, that does sound bad. My sense of humor is terrible, no? I hope no one misunderstands. I don't want the Wellness Center people being sicced on me. O.O

Whatever, anime watching now until I get sleep. Which will probably be a while since I had a very long nap.
