I was browsing throught folders of my computer tonight and in my IRC downloads folder I found the first episode to Peach Girl. I was shocked. I never downloaded that! How did it get there? I didn't even know what Peach Girl was. To my complete shock, it was a full episode of Peach Girl. I watched it and found out it was a shoujo anime and one that wasn't bad either... I then researched it and found out that's it's pretty new. But that doesn't hide the fact that I totally don't know where the hell this anime came from... It's actually kinda freaky... I have an anime that I don't remember getting on my computer...
But I really do like it. I haven't gotten into a shoujo anime in so long... But the whole love triangle thing...love square with that bitch Sae always trying to butt in...that just makes it all distasteful. I really don't know how I'm gonna handle this anime always knowing that Sae is there trying to ruin everything... But I do want the other episodes of it so I'm gonna download them... Now if only my downloads will go faster than 7 kb/sec since my connectin can go much faster than that. The fact that it doesn't is a bit sad... :( I'm gonna try and get it via IRC since it's faster (hopefully).
Oh! I finally finished downloading the first 20 episodes of Whistle! It's not Dear Boys like! I'm disappointed! :(
About Shinsen and BECK... I can't say how happy I was finding out that should "they" license BECK, they will be continuing on with the anime. I was so sad that they licensed the manga but at least the anime will continue on. Now if only they could get to where I am at and further than the manga, then I'd be really happy.
I'd also be really happy if I could get tactics 15 too... Just released! I love tactics! And Shinsen! Shinsen is just great! Love them so much! love love love!!!

Back to reading... The Russian Revolution this time... Not as boring at Marx's Summary of Marxism though... I still have some stuff to read from Lenin's book... *makes a face* He's a real pompous ass... I read "What is to be Done" yesterday as well as "State and Revolution" and it was so boring... Ah, must get back to it. Recitation tomorrow and our topic is revolution. :\
edit x1: I never knew Isumi's (from HnG -- I love Isumi, you know... He's the type of Asian guy that I want to meet in real life and marry) seiyuu played Narumi from Spiral... But he's in Peach Girl! He's so kawaii in it! And Touji is played by the same guy who did Yuushi from Hyotei! *vbg* I really like this anime...Diana-chan, I think you'll love it too. It seriously is very good. :D
I know Momo is in love with Touji and all but I can't help but think Kairi is much better (he's the one played by Isumi's seiyuu, by the way). He's so happy and he's kinda of a flirt and kinda wish-washy but I can't help but think he's a bit like Ryuichi from Gravitation with his sunny attitude and all... I keep on waiting for that one serious moment (like how Ryuichi has his serious moments) but it hasn't happened yet. It's like he tries to help but sometimes he just seems to make things worse but it's all with good intentions. I don't know he's serious about Momo but I kinda do want to see them together. I get the feeling he's gonna fall to the wayside (or heaven's forbid end up with Sae) as the in-between boyfriend (like Kei was for Miki in Marmalade Boy) that will step aside for the real boyfriend and that's really sad... But seeing as I know nothing about the story, I'm gonna hope I'm just thinking too much into it.
edit x2: Kairi's seriousness! It's not as powerful as Ryuichi but it's good... I have 15 mins until the 3rd episode... And they're releasing the 4th probably on Monday (been hanging out in the Shin-Otaku channel WAY TOO long)... Ah, I want to see it!
Anyway, I was just marveling over the fact that this is the sort of shoujo thing that I would never watch in anime but read in manga...
Gah, found out that TokyoPop licensed it. I thought I heard about its licensing once upon a time ago. Just from the book summaries it tells me that I really don't want to read this story... *sniffs* It's so mean to Kairi!!! I thought so but did they really have to do it like that... Basically Momo and Touji are together. They break up. Momo and Kairi get together. They break up. Momo and Touji are back together and Kaira becomes suicidal. :( Poor thing! I wanna hug him... (And somewhere in this Sae gets pregnant by a guy name Ryo?)
Anyway, knowing this, I wonder how many episodes this show is supposed to be... I mean, it can't go on forever...
edit x3: After three episodes of Peach Girl, I've definitley decided I like it. It's really not bad. I'm very frustrated though... Kairi is so understanding, Sae is such a bitch that it's getting annoying and Touji is just so clueless! I mean, if you're gonna believe in someone, you'd think you'd believe your girlfriend! His faith is just too low... They might like each other but he doesn't seem to trust all too well... And Kairi... I seriously like him so much. My heart goes to him, really. I don't want Kairi to be happy with anyone else though... But Touji... you can't hate him either... He's a clueless bastard but still he's a really nice person... Damn. I hate it when that happens... Usually I would hope the other guy gets a good person to end up with but I really want Kairi to win in this case! :(
