The lyrics kinda remind of MB's Saigo no Yakusoku (since they're both about break-ups and saying good-bye) but these lyrics are much more rich a lot more heartbreaking. I think this song best when you understand the lyrics (not that I profess to have anything more than just a basic understanding of the song myself since it's in Mandarin) but in a way, it sweetens the song. But it is perfectly lovable even without understanding the lyrics.

And now back to a night of reading and graphing joy. I'm swearing off anime for the next day or so and am devoting myself to reading books on the Russian Civil War (I actually dropped off for a minute or two during lecture, it was terrible!) and to my Chem work... :\
For my Jap. Art class, we're going to the Institute of Fine Arts to view the Genji Scrolls and I have to get up to 78th Street by 11 o'clock. It takes me to 11 o'clock just to walk to Silver from Tisch Hall so there's no way in hell I can get from Tisch Hall to Astor Place (the closest place where I can take the 6 Train up to 77th Street) and then walk to the IFA. I'll probably get lost trying to find the damn building. I'm very tempted to skip it and I would if I had a class at 12:30 but I don't. My next class is at 1:30 (Chem lab, joy) so I would be totally able to get back to campus by 1:30. *sigh* He did say we could be late though... I will be, no doubt about it. Probably like 15-25 minutes late. :( I hate being late. I hate taking the subway. And Astor Place is so far away from campus (not really but still!!!). I mean I could take the 8th Street and take the N/R train up to Union Square and then switch trains but the 8th Street station isn't that far from Astor Place (like a five minute walk) and I don't think that's worth it to deal with a transfer like that. Besides, of all the trains, I like taking the 6 Train. It's a very new train. :) I haven't taken it since the beginning of the school year. Usually I take the N train uptown.
Ah, whatever. I'll probably end up going. I'm that sort of person and it's that sort of class where I don't want to get on the prof's bad side and I really do like the Tale of Genji (even if I started reading it about a fourth of the way through before I got bored with it last year)... It'll be interesting. *shrugs* Whatever.
Anyway, download the song! It's good, really.
edit x1: I got another piece of Japanese email spam again... I don't think it's sexual from what Babelfish spit out but who knows? Should I reply? I don't know this person so if it is solicitating something from me... I don't know... I think I should ignore it.
edit x2: I just had breakfast foods for dinner... That's weird. I wonder if the dining hall had a ton of leftovers or something... Oh well... And the cheesecake ice cream tasted funny tonight... The only thing that saved it was crushed Oreos. I love crushed Oreos on ice cream. They're like the ultimate topping.
