It's hot...
Jul. 19th, 2005 01:40 am*makes a face* I hate heat. I suspect I would hate summer altogether if Oregon wasn't such a wet state. Summer is our only reprieve from rain and when you have about 9-10 months of rain, one gets tired of the cold and dreariness of it all. But ironically, a spot of rain would be absolutely heavenly right now.
I think the heat is getting to my family... I am on the outs, again. This whole experience makes me wonder why I even bother coming home when I know this always happened. I've recently decided my family and I don't match too well, though at times we are in sync and balanced, most of the time we're not and that only leads to petty sniping on both our parts. We're like chickens, pecking each other because it's the only thing we know how to do.
But enough on bad things. I am currently going through the hoard of Eroica fanfics Masha has sent me. I absolutely adore Dorian now. I admire his persistence for trying to get the same man to acknowledge his feelings for over twenty years... It's so sweet!
And aside from the Eroica, I've found myself getting back (sorta) into HP fanfiction. But not really in the HP/DM variety that I had adored three years ago. Now it's all about Severus. I'm planning on diving into some nice Remus/Severus stories as well as Sirius/Severus. I always liked those two combinations and after reading Piri Lupin-Snape's latest update to her RL/SS AU, I have an even larger craving for some more Remus/Severus fics (preferably stories that didn't have Remus and Sirius involved because they get kinda messy).
Before I go off, I must point out that the Genius 271-272 are up on my Hosted files on Streamload. And there's more this time! I put up some of the PoT sheet music scans that were floating around last year around this time. I don't think I have all of them, but I do have some of them. If anyone wants, they're welcome to them. They're in the folder aptly labeled "tenipuri sheet music" and there's no password restriction.
