Kya! Eyeshield 21!

It's 2 AM right now and I just did an eight episode Eyeshield 21 marathon. That might not seem like a lot but it is to me. Tomorrow I will catch up to Saizen's latest release! I can't wait! It's seriously a great show!

I can't help but fangirl over it! It's just neat! But of course! It has to be! As PoT's sucessor, they must be good. I'm happy!

I adore Sena! Kurita is just so cute! Hiruma is definitely growing on me. Even though he's a bit rough and just a little too violent, he's seriously has an interesting personality. I love how he leads Sena to discover things on his own, the way he's caustic when he's pleased... So cute! He really is like this great guy and the way he manipulates people (even it is evil) is just amazing. The whole "gaining slaves" bit in 13 was wonderful. And the new guy, Monta -- pretty cool as well. Although, every time I hear his voice I automatically think "Ryuichi!" (from Gravitation). I have no idea if he really has the same seiyuu but they sound so similiar...

I've gotten into another sports anime. Yay! I've done almost everything now I think! Well, except for hockey. Huh, I wonder if there is a hockey anime out there?

Was it just me or did they use a lot of recurring images in episode 13? I think I saw the same scene maybe four or five times, only with different dialouges...

Anyway, I've got to get to sleep... It's 2 AM and I have to be up at 8 AM to do the show soup kitchen thing. *makes a face* Not going to be fun. The buses don't evne run that early so I'll have to take the subway. :\ Not cool at all. I think I need to take the A or C to West 4th Street then walk down to Bobst. Damn that's early. And it's until 2 PM! God, I hope it's not going to be too rainy...

I'm hungry. And now I'm going to sleep. I'm going to have a Shrimp Cup Noodle for breakfast tomorrow! I'm looking so forward to it!

Well that was fun...NOT!

So today was soup kitchen.

OR so I thought.

It started off crappy -- should have know the rest of the day was going to suck to.

So I left 45 minutes early to get to campus. And technically since the thing didn't start officially until 9:30, I had another 15 minutes as a grace period so it was technically an hour early. West 4th Street really isn't THAT far from Fulton -- I mean it's like a 10 minutes (at the most) ride on the subway so I should have been there with PLENTY of time to spare.

At least so I thought.

I waited at the Fulton stop for 55 MINUTES. That's close to an HOUR. That's absolutely, completely, totally RIDICULOUS!

And the rub? I missed the C train by like 30 seconds. FUCK. And then I spent 55 MINUTES WAITING, STANDING, DOING NOTHING for the A train. DOUBLE FUCK.

And what happens when I get there (15 minutes late for the start of soup kitchen, 30 minutes for the meeting time), I find Kristen and the girl who was supposed to do the 9:15 shift (who commutes -- I felt sooooo sorry for her for making the trip for nothing!) walking AWAY from the church where we have soup kitchen.

Apparently, NO ONE was there. NO ONE. We went back, I banged on the door and NOTHING. I look inside though the mail slot and there's this HUGE, GIGANTIC HOLE in the middle of the room. I look up and taped on the door was one of those city permits to do construction. And what did this paper say? That they were going to DEMOLISH THE INTERIOR.

FUCK FUCK FUCK.

I woke up at 8 AM on a SUNDAY, I spend 55 MINUTES at a subway station, IT'S RAINING and the church is being DEMOLISHED? Who did I piss off so badly for them to screw with me like this? Obviously someone up there dislikes me.

That was hell. Complete and total hell. And it was all for nothing! And since the school buses don't start running until 10:30 so I was stuck... I wasn't really looking forward to waiting for a bus for 45 minutes in the RAIN so I had to take the subway back. That wasn't bad getting back but we were "momentarily delayed" for a bit at the City Hall/Brooklyn Bridge stop...

Okay, now that I'm back I'm going to sleep. And wake up I'm going to read Acts and Galatians and then do my homework for Tuesday. Thank god for Columbus Day. It's my only thing keeping me going now.

(Oh, speaking of breaks, I have two classes cancelled for Yom Kippur and I only have three classes total on Thursdays. Plus, NYC Public Schools are closed for Yom Kippur too which means no AR that day! I don't even have to go to work! I have ONE class on Thursday and NOTHING else! Yes!)

Damn it, I've started to crave sugar... Candy...I need candy... I have some chocolate but what I would really like is some butterscotch hard candy would be really nice right now. It's too bad it's 10 PM because otherwise I would so go out and get some... *mouth waters*
