First off, I made omurice and it turned out okay (one died on me though -- I put too much rice and I couldn't fold it)! And it was delicious! I can see why you would put ketchup on top of it -- it really does make it really yummy! Right now I'm just eating the rice (because the recipe makes way too much rice) and it's just not as yummy. I am half tempted to cover the entire thing with ketchup and then eat it that a way.

I'm very proud of this! Tomorrow instead of making two small omurices with one egg each, I will make one big omurice that has two eggs. :)

Right now I'm eating rice and watching the latest episode of Ace wo Nerae! I don't like it as much as H2 but it's good none the less. :)

Today was an interesting day... Japanese was my first class... Me and Xiao get there and there's only one other girl there... And then we waited and just as we thought another student was coming it, it turns out it's the new sensei, Matsushima Aya-sensei. And then we wait and wait and then it was five minutes after eight and still there was only us three and Matsushima-sensei...

And then we find out that on the registrar, there are only four people registered! Four! With the evil teacher! Gah, kill me!!! She is going to attack us tomorrow and I'll end up crying and wanting to die like always! At least it'll be review for the next couple of weeks... Well, at least the next two weeks... :\

It was okay with the new sensei though. She seems nice and while I miss Miyajima-sensei, she seems like she'll be good too. Now if only Hanawa-sensei would be as nice and understanding... :(

I hope tomorrow we won't be going to the off campus site... The strike is still on so there's still a chance but I really don't want to go!

After Japanese, I had a break but since I really didn't want to take a break from 9:30-10:45, I went to the first section of Orgo lecture. I'm actually registered for the one right after the first section, the 11:00 section but it's not like they take attendance so I just went to the earlier section. So after that I went and had some sushi and yummy hazelnut coffee. Then it was shopping because I didn't have lab until 1:30 PM...

I went to K-Mart, bought the hair ties my sister wanted and a new watch because I had somehow managed to lose my old one at home. I don't really like the new watch, but if I didn't have a watch, I'd feel weird. I don't like using my cell phone as my only indicator of time! It's just not practical! I found a really nice one that I liked but the battery didn't work in it and I didn't want to spend the money on a new battery so... Yeah.

Then after that it was textbook buying! I found the one book that I needed for Expressive Cultures: Sound and it's actually called Doing Cultural Studies: The Story of the Sony Walkman. Aside from the walkman part of it, I don't know what it has to with sound.

Leafing through it on the bus coming back from campus, I have no idea what it's about except the walkman. The exercises they have you do make it seem like it's more of a book on the advertising techniques of Sony... Eh, well, I'll see what the prof wants us to do with this book tomorrow when I go to the first lecture...

Tomorrow will be not fun. I end at 4:45 so it'll be a late day... I probably won't get back until 5:30 PM... :(

But I think Brittney will be in my Orgo recitation! She's actually in my lab section so we ended up being lab partners! It's always better to work with someone you know, work together even though we're supposed to be working individually... It's someone you can ask questions and see if we're on the right page... ^^

I was actually sitting up on the 8th floor of Silver around 12:30 waiting for my lab time... I was totally free after buying my book so I went up to the 8th floor where all the lockers are for the lab students and I got my stuff and sat down at one of the tables to wait.

And Brittney just happened to walk past and we started talking and we found out that we were both in the same lab! ^^

I'm happy. Today was just check in so we got out very quickly... We were out by 2 PM and I got back to the dorm by 2:30. But then I ran so many errands, buying school supplies (where I made a very big mistake and bought six wide-ruled notebooks -- I only use college-ruled normally), sending Diana's hair ties, buying groceries... And by the time I came back, it was already 4:00. Time goes so fast!

Then it was recopying my notes, something I've never done before but I'm willing to put a little more effort into Orgo this semester so I tried it out. And then it was the omurice! Thinking of all the rice I made, I think I'll be eating omurice for the next week. ^^;;; The recipe is really bad. There's no way all that rice could fit into four omelettes, absolutely no possible way.

And now it's Ace wo Nerae, the first episode of the Saiyuuki live action and then Japanese homework/prep for tomorrow. :) My day is set.

God, I'm so exhausted right now... Four hours of sleep is bad, you know. But I'll tough it out so I can sleep early tonight and get enough sleep for tomorrow. Hopefully I'll actually sleep early tonight instead of doing stupid stuff that I really shouldn't... I have a bad habit of that, unfortunately.

edit x1: Hey, when did Sanzo become a girl?

Goku... is very Goku-like?

Sanzo cries?

Hakkai looks like a treasure troll.

Gojyo reminds me of Jackie Chan.

I've been watching too much Saiyuki anime... The live action is much more like the Chinese versions of the story... I mean, Hakkai is an actual pig, but whether or not he has the vices remains to be see. That and everyone else.

But I'm quite sure Sanzo ain't a girl in the original... :\

edit x2: After watching the entire episode, all I have to say is "WTF?!"

Live action Saiyuuki is definitely...different. I can't really voice my thoughts into words very well... A lot of it really is just that I have so many things to say but no way to say them.

It's definitely different from what I'm used to... I'm not sure if that's good or bad yet....

And what the hell is with the way the first episode starts? It never really resolved or really explained what why it had happened... And I was really enjoying the feathers too! Mou... Is this the end of the end? I would like it -- nice cycle they'll have there if they do it like that.

Wait, the Feather guy has to be Genyoku, right? So, I'm guessing big baddie? Ah, I don't know at all...

The end theme song... I like it... It's mostly in English with a few lines in Japanese and surprisingly, the English is really good. I like it, I really do. I want it when it comes out. That and the OST! I must have it! It's so good! Definitely nicely composed. The Chinese element in it is rather nice. I'm sure the OST will have wonderful BGMs so I can't wait to get it. ^^
