Today is...Frittata!

Today's egg lunch? Frittatas! I didn't use enough salt and the pepper was just a bit strong but it was still yummy when covered with liberal amounts of ketchup. Ketchup can fix anything. :)

The last time I attempted a frittata ended up disaster (let's never talk about it again, ne?) so I was a bit worried about today but it seems as though I was worried for nothing because it all turned out okay. It's amazing how a working oven can help...

Anyway, I ate my frittata and it was yummy. :)

I think my roommate is becoming more and more perplexed at my egg creations... o.O Today we went into the kitchen and gave me a weird look while I was putting the pan into the oven... I think she just wasn't used to seeing such a cooking method though -- I meanit would confuse me if I weren't such a big Food Network fan.

Well, the rest of today will be devoted to... my lab report (yay) and finishing Eyeshield 21. And watching the newest episode of Capeta because even though I have...issues with this show, I still want to watch the next episode.

I did about half of my lab report yesterday and it was hell. Long and boring and it just made me want to go sleep... Not fun at all. And about 3:30 AM, my mother called me, worried about the fact that she had heard some college student had gotten herself kidnapped and killed while in New York. And I got the "be extra careful, don't go out at night without someone with you" blah, blah, blah speech. And that just made me even more tired so I just kinda went to sleep after that.

And then I woke up and found our toilet all clogged up. *makes a face* I must turn in a service request for that... Today so they could at least get up here tomorrow...

Capeta!

Oh my god, Naomi/Capeta is going to be my next pairing! I absolutely adore Naomi (and his Osakan accent!) and Capeta has this sort of tunnel vision "I'm going to make him acknowledge me!!!" is so perfect... It's like Hikaru and Touya, Naruto and Sasuke -- so perfect for a slashy pairing. ^^

That other coach for Autohouse? So the seiyuu for Inui. I'm absolutely certain of it.

There's only four more episodes where they're in elementary school and then from 15 on, it's middle school. Hopefully Capeta will lose that annoying voice of his.

And oh my god!!! The seiyuu for middle school Capeta is Toyonaga Toshiyuki! The guy who played Kachiroh in Tenimyu!!! Kya! So very very cool. I can already hear him as Capeta now... :)

Ah, I would enjoy this even more if I weren't totally cramping. I hate being a girl, I really do. :(

Ugh...

edit x1: This cramp makes life hell. All I want to do is take another aspirin (the other one stopped working after a bit) and curl up like a ball in my bed, wishing I had a hot water bottle. God, I would kill for a hot water bottle right now.

But I have to do my paper today or else I am so screwed. I don't want to be screwed! Must finish, must must finish!

I had meant to post about it before but on Friday I found out that one of the kids at the school I tutor at was missing.

Today they've found his body.

Damn.

I didn't know the kid -- he was a 9th grader and I work primarily with 10th graders but I know some of the kids I tutor knew him... God, this just sucks. I mean at my high school, we've had deaths before (and we've always joked that every class has to have someone die so they could remember them for air guitar to get the sympathy points) but this is no joke and it's a real damn shame. I feel for his parents and for his classmates... I'm glad I don't have to work on Monday when the kids will all be told about this...

It's selfish, I know but I barely know how to handle this news, much less helping others come to grip with it... I'm just really glad I won't have to step into that school until Thursday.
