Toshi-kun! Goro-kun!
Apr. 6th, 2006 12:45 amMinor Ja Nai finally released! Now I want them to catch up to the latest release because I'm really curious what happened in the latest episode. It's like once the subs catch up, I forget what parts I really wanted to know about.
But don't you just think that the ED lyrics really point towards Goro/Toshi? I certainly think so! I mean the way the images were going, you really do get a strong vibe for the two of them but with the lyrics, it's like KYA! I love the part where they say "When you can't do it, I'll do my hardest for us / Be an idiot and make me laugh like always" and "A wonderful tomorrow is sure to be waiting for us." Sure, you can say they're innocent lyrics and nothing is suggest from them and while I'll totally be content with them together as a powerful battery, I would still like them to get to the next level! Really, they are just too cute! ^^
Today's weather was just too weird... I woke up today, and it was sunny, bright, pretty clear, a couple of clouds. I thought to myself, hey it looks nice, even if I can't get online (it was down this morning when I woke up) to check the forecast, I doubt it's gonna rain.
We get to campus, we walk to 194 Mercer and while it was cold, it was sunny and clear. It was really nice -- blue skies and every thing with a couple of clouds.
I walk out of my class an hour and a half later, what do I see out the window (classroom itself didn't have windows, the hallways do) -- outside is dimmed, overcast, dark, looks as though it's about to rain. And since I was a bit of a distance away from the window, I thought to myself that it was probably just because it was an old window and it's naturally like that.
We get downstairs and we walk outside, what do we see? Rain. It was completely clouded over, it wasn't so bright and sunny or clear any more and it was raining and as we walked back to campus, it started to rain harder. We were like "WTF?!" because we didn't realize the weather could change so drastically so quickly. It was literally just an hour and a half, going from completely beautiful sunny day to a terrible, ugly and miserable rainy one.
Then when I get to Silver and to my MolecCell lecture, I look out of the windows and what do I see? VERY HEAVY RAIN. It was like a sudden downpour. But then I noticed something weird. It didn't look quite like rain. No, it was a bit different. Why? BECAUSE IT WAS SNOW.
SNOW.
IN APRIL.
We were like o.O and I was going "Oh my god, WTF, WTF, WTF???"
And it wasn't like a few moments of light snow-rain mix. No it was big, fat flakes and it was coming down HARD. It wasn't sticking but it was crazy! And it continued to snow for two hours. As a class, we were totally entranced by the heavy snow.
I walk out of Silver to get lunch an hour and a half later and it was still snowing. I go back to Silver (because I really didn't want to walk all the way to Kimmel or Tisch in the snow with no umbrella and a light jacket) and I stay there and I studied for about an hour. And it continued on snowing. It stopped before my 2 PM class though but it was still pretty overcast and I thought it was probably going to rain some more or something.
I walk out of my Sounds class at 3:15 PM and what do I see? My clear, blue skies came back! My sun! It was really nice out, so nice that it was hard to believe that less than two hours ago, it was snowing heavily. Hell, the sidewalks were even partly dry! Crazy! Absolutely freaking crazy!
New York City weather makes me go o.O. I seriously can't handle things like this. I mean, clear sunny day => heavy snow => clear sunny day? How does that make sense at all?
I want to go back to Oregon with our mild, predictable weather... I miss that... Sure we get rain all the time but hey, at least I know it's rain and only rain. And we're not teased with sunny weather only to get it cruelly yanked away and replaced by snow. It's like the weather is mocking us. To think we were in the high 60s and low 70s last week too! This week... T_T
It's trying to break us, I swear. I'm scared to think about tomorrow. Today totally weirded me out... :(
