Evil alien space pirates. Seriously how could a dream with them not be incredible? It was only one in three dreams I had tonight but that one was amazing. And it ended like a nice little fanfic I was reading!

It was about Daniel and Jack but for some reason, Daniel was more of a composite of Daniel and Rodney because Daniel was fixing some sort of alien weapon and he got totally consumed by it. Little by little, Jack got annoyed at how little attention his lover was paying to him and little by little, Daniel became more and more fixated by completing his task.

It got to the point where Jack got fed up and left their house (kya moment, seriously, "their" house) to head into the SGC to take his mind off things. Then all of a sudden these evil alien space pirate things start attacking earth. They swoop in, in swarms like bees and they can shoot missiles at people... They could attack together or as individuals away from the pack. And they have the power to influence machinery to make them move the way they wanted them to.

Except for Danny. Danny is working on his little machine and he gets annoyed at the disturbances outside (the evil space aliens killing and wreaking havoc on the world) so he decides to shut them up for good. The house starts shaking, and all of sudden these missile things (very colorful) head straight for the swarm and after a little chase, they hit them dead on in a magnificent explosion. All that is left is this hanging skeleton (made by the swarm, don't ask me why they did that but it was seriously a good effect) and a dagger (the things Daniel shot off at them) through its head.

Later, it quiets down a bit, a woman (I seriously have never seen her before in my life -- short blond hair, a bit chubby, shortish, older -- definitely not in the SG universe, although I got the impression that she was a superhero -- again don't ask me why -- and a motherly figure), shows up tries to get the story from Daniel but Daniel is still consumed by the machine.

Then the skeleton started disintegrating back into the individual baddies. Apparently Daniel just incapacitated them for a bit. They try to attack again, this time broadcasting a good amount of hate thoughts and ideas and Daniel gets very pissed off. He and his weapon express some heroic ideas (heroes will prevail, good will triumph, that sort of stuff), in some wonderful colorful lettering in the sky and he ends up killing all of the baddies for good in a way that would leave no doubt that they're all dead. And then Danny freaks about having wiped an entire race out of existence. And Jack comforts him, helps him move on.

I realize this is probably not the most...accurate SG dream I've ever had, but seriously, you had to have been there. It made sense in the way dreams make sense while you're dreaming and it was so...bright and colorful with so many great emotions. And the special effects -- probably the best my mind has ever come up before.

I think this is what happens when you watch the Matrix and then go on to read a billion McShep fics.

Anyway, the other stories... My sister going crazy while in her care -- pretty cool if a bit odd... And the other one was me and a guy friend kidnapping a baby and transporting it across the US and being buried a few times in the snow when we accidentally triggered an avalanche. What was the most amazing part of that last dream was how the baby never cried during this entire thing (and I wondered if it had been dead and we had accidentally killed the guy) until the very end of the trip where we give him back to his parents... Like I said, it made sense in the dream.

But that was a nice way to end a night of sleeping for me. I can't remember having such exciting dreams before. ^^

edit x1: Huh, Lt. Aiden Ford is a marine... I would never have guessed it.

edit x2: Does that mean Sumner was a marine too? It would make sense...

I have never wanted to have been a Canadian more than I do right now. I can't find Traders past the first season on DVD. And it's definitely not on BT anywhere I can see. But had I been Canadian all those years ago, I could have watched Traders happily following it and have see the wonderful greatness that is Grant Jansky and David Hewlett.

Yeah, it's the David Hewlett thing again. I love the man, I really do. And YouTube him has given me a great insight in who he is more so than Rodney and I also got to see some nice and wonderful Trader clips with Grant in them. And I just want to see them all now...

The show never made it to the US and I had never even heard of it before getting into DH and... Yeah. I can get the first season for about $30 but I want them all because DH was on that show for like five years!

Plus, there's also that guy that's really cute in Traders too... He has such wonderful hair and he reminds me a bit of Noah Wyle, only darker... Yeah, Sherry is crushing just a little bit. ^^

Two times I passed up the chance to buy ice cream and now I'm really regretting it. I want chocolate. I want something sweet and yummy and I want to get high on sugar. I'm working my way through my emergency stash of chocolate...

...at least I was before I remembered I had a half a bag of Hershey's Nuggets left over from last year. Okay, I'm going to get high on sugar tonight if it's the last thing I do. I need a fix of something to help me get through all these EVIL kanji I have to memorize for tomorrow. I mean when am I ever going to use "sonawaru" (to be provided) in my life? Seriously. *rolls eyes*

But I shall do it because I must and then I'll go over my homework for Genetics for tomorrow's quiz and I'll hopefully be okay for tomorrow. :\

I am so procrastinating right now. I really am. I should be working through my kanji worksheet but I'm actually on YouTube (I really do love that site so much!) watching music videos from The Rasmus whom I absolutely just adore to death! I had no idea that they even had music videos but I guess it just never occurred to me to even check it out.

Their live performance in London in October of last year is amazing. Their "F-F-F-Falling" has me go "awww!!!" I love it when the audience loves a song so much, are so involved with a group that they sing the entire song while they're playing it. And seeing as "F-F-F-Falling" is probably my most loved song of The Rasmus and they played it slowly and somewhat softly which made it so much more of an amazing song!

I can just lose myself in the way the fans are so into the song. It's so beautiful -- I love feeling these pure feelings and knowing that we as human beings are able to connect -- if only for a small moment in time -- on one singular thing. I can only imagine how it would have felt to have been there in person -- the feelings of euphoria must have been overwhelming...

God, this just reminds me of why I love The Rasmus so much...

And wow, the video to "Guilty"? Crazy little thing, isn't it? Definitely a bit emo there but really, wow. I always assumed it was about love but really, it's not isn't it? If the music video is any indication, it's something much more deeper and a bit more...psychotic than that. But I still like the song... It has that one line that I still adore "I never thought that the time and the distance between us made you so much colder" which is sung so magnificently. And it's done pretty well in the video too. ^^
