Oct. 15th, 2006 03:28 amMan, I love geek humor!
Applied Physicists are from Venus and Theoretical Physicist wonder why it rotates in the opposite direction.
Tell me that's not a gem. I bet Rodney would love that. Or have heard it all his life. Ah, I love good quotes...
In other news, I think my thumb is still...sprained. How long does it take for a sprain to be not a sprain anyway? I think I did talk about it a while ago...About how I was at UNHS and I might have sprained my thumb against a door (I pushed, it pushed back on my thumb, etc, etc)? Anyway, it's been two weeks since that day and my thumb still hurts a bit when I bend it fully. It's not like a major pain but I definitely feel something unlike what I feel on my other, healthy thumb.
And now I think I established that something is still not all together right with that finger. I was turning a door knob with it and there was this intense pain when I was turning it with my thumb... That doesn't normally happen... I guess this establishes the fact that not only can it not bend fully but it can't turn to the left either. Independently at least. If the whole hand moves it's okay. But when it's just the thumb -- pain.
I hope it fixes itself soon... This was the first time it's inconvenienced me or had really hurt majorly (it doesn't hurt now those -- it was a very isolated, brief incident) but I can see it happening again and that kind of pain is something I would like to avoid if possible.
Ah well, whatever. I'm going to sleep. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. *shrugs*
