Sandwiches!

I am really loving sandwiches. I mean before I liked eating them -- they're fast and easy and they can be so satisfying and there's so many different things you could put in them...

Right now I'm discovering the greatness that is turkey. I've always been iffy when it comes to turkey. It's not like I hate it but it's not my favorite sandwich meat. At least it wasn't. Now after hearing about it so much on Stargate (both Sheppard and Teal'c like it and Sam was eating a turkey sandwich in that one episode), I decided to give it another try and it's not bad. I'm not too fond of turkey bologna but I adore turkey salami. So yummy. I haven't tried the roasted or smoked turkey yet -- I bought a turkey multipack so I'm getting lots of different types of turkey.

And I have discovered the greatness that is leaf lettuce. It's so much more appetizing and tasteful in comparison to normal iceberg lettuce. I should have made the transition ages ago.

And to think that only this slight change in ingredients could trade the taste of the sandwich so drastically! It makes me wonder if I shouldn't invest in some really good bread to go with it. Maybe I should try a wheat one or a multigrain? I've never been into that before because wheat always had this weird taste to me but I think it just might be what my bread needs. Or maybe I should go buy some rolls/baguettes/hiros or something along those lines...

Man, I just ate a sandwich and I just want to eat another. It feels a bit weird. Maybe I should do sandwiches for dinner then -- then I could satisfy my sandwich craving. ^^

...

Okay, is it bad that I think that Fruit of the Loom commercial song is actually good and could pass for a real song?
