So, I turned in around 3 AM this morning... My roommate had gone out with her friends to go bar hopping and by that time she had not returned. I played a few rounds of Solitaire on my iPod until about 3:30 AM and by that time she still had not returned.

I tried going to sleep but I just couldn't sleep. I suspect it had something to do with all that coffee ice cream that I had eaten because I was totally awake. Or it could be my insomnia -- it does take me quite a long time to actually fall asleep normally...

Anyway, I was awake for about another hour before I heard something. I was facing the wall so when the door opened, I couldn't see who it was that came in. But then I heard my roommate's voice and some other girl's voice and they were talking loudly and giggling a lot and in the dark, the maneuvered over the bed. There was more giggling more talking, a lot of talking actually and I just pretended to be asleep.

They didn't try to lower their voices at all. I'm pretty sure they were piss-assed drunk. Anyway, they kept on talking, what about I couldn't really make out since I'm just a little deaf (all that iPod and loud music I think), and the next thing I knew, I heard the sound of a digital camera and then there was a flash. One of them was taking pictures of the other. That happened several more times. I mean who really takes pictures of each other while they're drunk in bed?

Eventually both of them settled down and asleep. Together in the bottom bunk. And this is coming from my roommate who thought it was rude to bring someone else into the room and to sleep in a bunk bed. *rolls eyes* I guess that doesn't count when people are drunk.

What I did find really odd was how they didn't even think about the possibility that I might be awake or might wake up. I was so tempted to tell them that people were trying to sleep but I didn't want to deal with the awkwardness that would follow something like that. Anyway, when I first came back, Jenn asked if I was a light sleeper and I told her I was. And I am. Extremely so actually. Them coming in would have woken me up had I been actually asleep. Their talking definitely so. Still, I guess she was too drunk to put it all together... *shrugs* Whatever. The girl was still asleep in bed when I woke up... I'm surprised actually. They didn't look that hung over.

And you know what? I distinctly remember saying I didn't mind her bring people over as long as they weren't all drunk too... And that she said wouldn't be doing something like that... I guess I now know how she stands on that. :\

Me, I'm going to read my Physics book and possibly eat some more of that coffee ice cream. Even if it's going to keep me up, I think I would like some of that right about now.
