It's SNOWING!!!
Feb. 13th, 2007 08:59 pmI'm still incredibly happy about this! It's amazing to me that I still find this incredible. ^^
I love snow! I heard crackling at the window and I knew that the skies were looking to snow and I didn't think it was going to start tonight... But I don't think it's going to last... Hopefully it will. I love seeing a ton of snow on the ground. :)
This night would be perfect if I didn't have to memorize my essay for Japanese. It's long and I can't seem to get past the first page... :\ I'm trying to flow but I keep getting caught up in certain places... Like the date of my birth...It's just so long...
Oh, today in Japanese something funny happened. We were going dialogues and the way Hulyalkar did it was that she made transparencies of the stuff in the book and she didn't allow us to refer to the text... There's a lot of kanji and she didn't put up the pronunciations on the transparencies... It was difficult but not that bad. She went around one by one and we each did a line and they were really long dialogues too... :\ But we were able to do it and it wasn't all that bad.
Then, she tells us that she was going to switch to the English version. And were like "WHAT?!" And then she changes the actual transparency and it's like the translation of what we had just done in English. And we all had this shocked, freaked out, OMG! look to our faces. It was almost comical if we hadn't been freaking out about it. It was...pretty terrible. I wasn't hit with the worst of it thankfully. I think she thinks I suck and has given up on me though... ^^;;; *sigh*
Now I'm trying to work through my essay... It's long...why the hell did I have to make it so long? T_T I'm afraid of messing up... :(
Tomorrow is my field trip day though. I'm trying to decide whether to go tomorrow or to go later... If I should go to work or go home instead. Whether or not I should skip Economics... It's all in the air right now... I had plans and I had changed those plans and now I think I'm changing them back... I have no idea... We'll see how I feel tomorrow I guess.
