Kya!

Okay, rejuvenated! Well, partly anyway. I'm still tired but I have that neat feeling that you get when you're really into something.

So I watched Heroes. I had been sooo hyped up to see it but after the actual episode, I remembered the feeling that I always had while watching Heroes -- you expect so much to happen and things do happen and it's cool and all but you really feel like at the end, it was lacking something. I'm looking forward to next week's very dark episode though. It promises to be tantalizingly awesome.

So aside from Heroes today, I decided to finish my reading for Physics and as a reward, I watched anime, something I haven't done in a while.

I finally got around to the second and third episode of Darker Than Black. I am really loving Li -- even though I really have no idea who he is, if he's good or bad or anything of the sort. The whole show is just very mysterious and all but it's definitely getting my interest peaked. Plus, the opening and end theme songs are just awesome! I can't wait until Rie Fu's single comes out because that is one song that I love listening to.

I also watched Kaze no Stigma today as well. Poor Kazuma -- but I do love watching him kick ass. It's really sad what happened to him and I want to see him get revenge, even if he's not the one doing all the killings. Still, I almost wish it were him. But even if he's a wind user and not the fire/flame thing, that's okay because I still think he's cool. ^^ I definitely KYA'ed over Kazuma, almost as much as I did Li but Li is just really cool when he kills. Although Kazuma is really cool when he manipulates the wind... :\ Hmm...I really like both of them! But I think I might be leaning towards Li because he has this sweet side to him that may or may not be an act but it makes you think there's a lot more to him than meets the eye.

Also got around to the latest episode of Major that was released by Minor Ja Nai. I had already watched it as a raw and had known what was going to happen (and was surprisingly shocked to see how much came through and how much didn't) but it was a favorite of mine. I always love it when other people realize his father is this cool professional baseball player (even if he is retired now). Whenever I watch Major, I'm struck by how much I love this show and it reminds me of last season where I was also so obsessed that I was watching raws of the show. Last year I was in my first year of Japanese so I kinda sucked but I was still able to understand some of it. This year however makes me feel like I'm getting most of it and only some of it isn't coming through. It's amazing what one year of study can do for your comprehension levels. ^^

The other two animes that I tried today? Lucky Star and Seto no Hanayome, both of which I think is fully of crack. I don't get Lucky Star -- the first half was basically talking about different ways to eat food which is weird... I guess you can break open the top half of a creampuff and then dip it in the creme... :\ I can't say it's something I've ever thought about doing myself though. The theme song is oddly infectious though even if it does have a WTF feeling towards it. Like the show, it has this "I have no idea what it's about" feeling but it's definitely fun to listen to.

Seto no Hanayome made more sense and I guess in that way, it was more crackier than Lucky Star. There were lots of moments where I seriously doubted the sanity of the characters but there is a defined storyline even if it's a bit of a weird one... I mean a middle schooler almost drowns but is a saved by a mermaid but now has to marry that mermaid or else the mermaid will die or the mermaid's yakuza-like father will kill the middle schooler? And all this about his first kiss being a guy? Just a bit weird. But I think I will follow Seto while I've already deleted Lucky Star. I can't just follow shows about high schooler girls that make no sense. *shrugs*

Okay, it's 1 AM. I can either go to sleep and get about 9 hours of sleep or watch Moonlight Mile that I still haven't tried yet... Hmm... Choices choices... I guess I can see how the theme song of Moonlight Mile is before I choose. You can always tell a good anime from their theme song. :)

edit x1: Wow, Bokurano has a beautiful opening theme. But the story is kinda scary... I don't usually do psychological thrillers because they freak me out and Bokurano definitely does just that.

I think I'm going to rip the opening theme and then go to sleep. It's getting late... :\

I mean even the lyrics are beautiful. At least those that have been translated from the first episode that I have from Triad. I can't wait to get my hands on the full lyrics on this and try my hand at understanding it.

I love the beginning where it goes:

Back then, the great shock to our reality,
Was that our lives were so primitive and simplistic, it was laughing in our faces,
Even covering my ears, the truth slipped through my fingers and left me confused.
Where in my frail body am I supposed to hold the strength to stand?

Tell me that isn't that wonderful. And the numerous repetitions of the word "uninstall" -- so well chosen that I can't even convey how great it is and how it inhances the song as a whole. I so need this song.

Now if only I can work up the courage to keep watching this series... :\

edit x2: Wow, doesn't release until mid June... Tha'ts a bit surprising and way too long of a wait! :( Oh well, I'll content myself with my little rip of it.
