NUMB3RS Season Finale
May. 19th, 2007 04:32 amI had been looking forward to the NUMB3RS season finale for a while now and it was billed as being a crazy, amazing show with possible betrayals by seemingly loyal characters.
It was crazy! Spies and codes and double agents -- the whole shebang! And Colby! Oh my god, Colby was a double agent for the Chinese?! What the fuck! That is like crazy! I would never have guessed, never. *shakes head* I never warmed up to Megan or Colby but after two years, I was used to him and having him be a traitor is just mindboggling...
And poor David! Watching it a second time, I saw how David was tearing up when Colby finally admitted that he was working for the Chinese. He looked so betrayed! It was awful! And it really makes me wonder about the two of them... They're usually working together more often than not in the cases and they've had each other's back so they're obviously close but I didn't realize how close they were at all! At least not for David to be that upset when Colby turns out to be a traitor. It's hard when someone you know personally, someone you've worked with and thought you knew turns evil but for David to have tears? It makes me wonder...
Damn, I had never even considered that they could have been together. I didn't slash anyone in this series at all and all of a sudden I see David/Colby slash? That's whacked. Were there signs that I just missed?
Even Colby seemed really upset when his friends and coworkers confronted him about it, like he was really pained that everything was falling apart. I really have to wonder about him -- is he really evil? Is he going to go away forever from now on? He seems really sad and resigned, like he's genuinely upset about this and not just about getting caught. Otherwise, he would be pissed off, not sad... :\
I can't wait until next season. What will in store for us next? Will we have a new character? Will Colby be back? Is that wishful thinking? Who knows? I know I will be waiting anxiously to find out.
And tomorrow, well, really in a few hours, a new episode of Doctor Who! ^^
