I spent most of today in bed. I went to sleep rather late and everything was fine then but then I woke up, I found I couldn't turn my head to the right at all without lots of shooting pain.
God, I absolutely hate it when that happens. I'm almost certain I just slept wrong and my neck was probably bent at an awkward angle for several hours. It's been years since the last time this happened back in the 11th grade and frankly, I'm not at all too happy about it happening again.
It was really bad when I woke up and it felt like every little movement was bringing tears to my eyes because it was just that painful. I had to slowly inch my way up from the bed, using both of my hands and arms to push myself up and in the end it took me about a minute. In the end, I decided to go back and just lie down until the pain went away a bit and it took another minute just to get back down. Not fun, not fun at all.
I tried a really hot shower and pelted myself with hot water to try and loosen up the muscle a bit and I took aspirin because I just couldn't take the pain any more. I don't normally take aspirin because I normally break out into hives because of it but so far nothing so I'm hopeful that it won't happen without me taking lots of it.
In the end, I just decided to stop moving, that it was all too painful to continue on trying to go on with the day and decided to just let the aspirin woke while moving as little as possible as I lay on multiple fluffy pillows. I feel asleep thinking that if I just past the time away while I was asleep, I could probably avoid some of the evil pain.
Anyway, it seemed to have worked out a bit. Apparently someone on my
newyorkers community was spamming the hell out of it with obscene pictures and given my propensity to refresh my friends page a hundred times a day every few minutes, I probably wouldn't have missed any of them. And thank god for it. I really don't need to see a naked guy getting a blowjob. :\
Damn, it seems like the longer I'm awake, the more tense my neck is getting. God, I hope it does get as bad it was today... :(
