Apparently their van broken down and is being towed at this moment so I've been given a confirmation number and the number to Guest Services so I can call them and get reimbursed for cab fare.

Never mind the reason why I pick Super Shuttle is the fact that I hate hailing cabs.

I'm tired and sleepy and now that I don't have Super Shuttle picking me up, I can actually leave later because they always insist on being ungodly early for flights (I suspect that's because they're always late and need the extra time to make sure they don't have pissed people who've just missed their flights and are ready to kill them).

But the whole hailing cab thing. I've never been too fond of it. And this will be the first time I'm doing it from Water Street at this time of day... If it was daylight out, I wouldn't care since there are always cabs parked across the street ready to take you where ever you need to go (although for me, it's always to class when the bus is late or when I over sleep and need to be in class immediately) but this is the Financial District at 4 AM... I have no idea how it'll be but I hope I won't have to walk to Chinatown or somewhere else to get a freaking cab. I'm thinking about leaving around 4:30 AM... That a way, I'll hopefully get to LaGuardia at around 5:30ish which would be if there is an accident or traffic, both of which I can't imagine but who knows? I don't want to miss my flight but I think I'm going to be ridiculously early no matter what since I need to be sure I'll get there in time and that's the only way I can do it.

*yawns* I shouldn't be tired but I am... I think I'm going to have no trouble sleeping on this flight. Ugh, here's to half a day spent traveling... It'll be 4.5 hours until I get to Denver, then a four (!!!) hour layover (GAH, kill me now. The only good thing about that is that I'll have ample time to hunt out a good place to get breakfast/lunch but that's about it) until another 2.5 hour flight back to Portland. I hate flying like this. The layover is going to kill me -- I'm probably going to buy a book, probably a really trashy romance novel so I don't end up kill myself and I'm probably going to be dead tired. I need sleep. Sleep! I better sleep during my flight to Denver or else I don't know how I'm going to handle it. I'll probably nod off there and someone will steal my purse or something awful like that.

...yeah, I'm just a bit of a pessimist...But just a little. :\

Ugh, here's to hopefully an uneventful flight home. I get to spend three days there before I get to do it again. Only I'm pretty sure I'm going to miss my connecting flight out of Las Vegas since I arrive about half an hour before my departure. I'm going to hope for clear skies on Monday, being early and for the gates to be right next to each other. And for not missing my connecting flight because that would really suck.

*sigh* Okay, probably another hour before I should go... Or an hour and a half. That'll make it 5 AM and that's reasonable for a 7 AM flight, isn't it? Hopefully? I hate not having a point of reference for this. In previous years, I've always lived in a part of Manhattan that had people around or was at least by a major street/avenue. But this is New York -- how hard can it be to get a cab anyway? Even if I'm in the Financial District... Oh well, I can only hope for the best. Here's to hoping...
