*gasp*

I just went on EZTV's website and saw that Majel Roddenberry has died.

As an avid Star Trek fan, I was shocked and saddened by this news. I will remember her fondly, oddly more for her role on Earth: Final Conflict as Doctor Julianne Belman because I had been more of an EFC fanatic (my first major fandom!) than I was a Star Trek one but I have great love for her and series. Who can forget all the memorable Lwaxana Troi, the mother of Deanna? Or as the computer's voice in pretty much every single Star Trek series? I have so many good memories and it's really such a shame that she lost her fight with leukemia.

I offer her family my condolences and I hope she rests in peace knowing fans around the world will remember her well and mourn her passing.

Blizzard!

We are under a blizzard warning! A blizzard warning!!! How cool is that? I don't think I've ever been in Hood River under blizzard conditions before. Hell, I don't think I've ever been in a blizzard before! My first blizzard! I'm so excited! Please, let it be awesome! I want to be snowed in! I want to see a ton of snow! Please don't disappoint me now that I've let myself hope for this. Seriously, this is wonderful news~!
