Oct. 15th, 2009 01:57 amSomehow, I feel like I should be meticulously going through my flist, reading all the new posts and every single one of the fics with summaries that interest me but I'm just not feeling it. I wonder why that is?
Instead, I find my mind drawn more towards the Harvest Moon game I'm playing, to the AU Sentinel fics I'm readings, all the shows I haven't watched from yesterday and today and those two seasons of Alias I've downloaded in an attempt to rewatch the whole series. And then today, I was listening Gimme Gimme by the A-Teens, the song I listened to over and over again while reading Forever Knight fics when I was younger (oh, how some of the stuff there freaked the hell out of me but now, it's probably considered incredibly tame in my mind) so I have this urge to go back and read some of those fics as well... I wonder if that archive is still around...? And even though back then I just couldn't see LaCroix/Nick slash fics (especially since they have that whole father/son thing going on there and that immediately makes me think incest and I go o.O and >< on it), I think I might give it a shot now. It's not like they're actually related by blood... Okay, it's a bit iffy but they're vampires and seriously, if I can read Angel/Spike fics, I really should be able to read LaCroix/Nick fics, right?
Ugh, I don't know. They have a different dynamic and their type of pairing is one that I generally stay away from in other pairings... :\
And my poor flist... I'm probably letting good SGA, HP and and ST XI fics slip through my fingers right at this very minute because I just can't concentrate on them...
Oh, I just remember -- I really should check if my Trip/T'Pol fics have been updated since it's been like a month since I last checked. *groans* Why does it seem like there's not enough time in the world sometimes and way too much time at other times? Oh, well, I'm off to eat the last banana and to find the Ransomed Knight -- I feel like I've read it but it's been probably eight years since I last read any FK fics so it'll probably seem totally new! And it comes highly recommended. ^^
