Apr. 22nd, 2010 02:36 amUgh, I just can't seem to digest dinner. I'm feeling indigested, bloated, gas-y... Ugh, someone should just poke me with a fork and deflate me already.
I think it the combination of too much chips before dinner and then too much dinner on top. But those chips were damn tasty -- Lay's Balsamic Sweet Onion. I still have the taste of thyme in my mouth, even after dinner! It was overwhelming at times, with certain chips that were had too much of the thyme on it but a good majority of them had wonderful flavor, the sweetness of the onion came out really well and the balsamic adds a nice depth to it. And like I said, the thyme was a bit overwhelming. The problem with that is that I'm not a big fan of thyme or of its earthy overtones. Still, it's a ballsy potato chip and it's quite shocking to see it come from Lay's of all the brands -- not something I would have thought in any stretch of the imagination. Still very yummy and very multi-layered which I love. I think in the end, this might be my most favorite Lay's potato chip flavor.
