It's the Loki arc! The arc I've been waiting for! I wanna see Loki as Leo (even if it's in the past)... :(
Right now, I'm reading HnG. I'm still on volume one since I decided to go and look up all the words I didn't know. Which are a lot. No matter what language I learn, it's always the vocab that fails me. I learn verbs well, and adjectives and adverbs, but simple nouns? Yeah, they elude me.
But I've figured out one thing -- reading for content first and not pausing every other bubble to look up a word is better for the story. Which I kinda already knew but sorta forgot. I can get what it's saying most of the time since parsing out the meanings of the words I don't know helps when there's context. And I think that's sorta what I should be doing anyway instead of being crazy anal and looking up even the words that I sorta kinda know (either from context or because I'm pretty sure I've heard it or read it before) but am not totally sure of so the dictionary I go.
Anyway, it's sorta fun. In the way that I feel like I rather be doing that than watching the counterpart in the anime. Well, I always did favor the written word more...
On a different note, it occurs to me today that it's been almost a month since I last heard from Masha... I'm pretty sure she's probably just way, way, way crazy busy, but if you're out there Masha, it'll be nice if you could tell me you're alive. You don't have to write me an email, you can just leave me a comment... I have this horrible feeling that you might have collapsed from the stress of working way too much... Anyway, it'll be nice to know.
