Despite the fact that it's 3 AM, it is still entirely too warm in my room. And there is absolutely no breeze on this side of the house... :(

And tomorrow promises to be hot yet again. And the day after that also promises to be hot. Ugh, two more days of over 90 degree weather is just wrong. To think I was cursing the cold and rain just a month ago (which at that point, we hadn't even broken 80 yet, which was a record for us). Now, I kinda want it to come back -- anything is preferable to the heat...

The worst part about all this? Our A/C is broken. Therefore, this is hell. :(

Hot...hot...hot...

One more day of this... Gah... *dies*

I need to find somewhere or someone who has A/C and just hide there for the next two days...

It's nearly 100 here and despite the fact that it's Hood River, there's surprisingly no wind. Not that it would make much of a difference, I suppose since it's just hot and even if I opened the windows, it would probably just blow hot air into the house... Still, some air circulation would be nice... It makes me wonder what happened to all our fans but I think we might have gotten rid of some of them when we moved to this house that has central A/C. Well, had, since it's currently on the fritz... :\

Right now, I'm trying to keep cool by staying on the lower level of the house since it's like boiling upstairs... But I feel like it's a bit too hot even here to do much... It's like the heat is sapping away my energy to do things... Gah... It even feels too hot to nap or go online. Which kinda sucks since I just decided to get back into Eroica fics last night. For some reason or another, I was raiding my closet and I found the first two volumes of Eroica... They're the only ones I own and I had a hankering to get more of them (there's 14 volumes out already! Certainly a lot more than I expected...). That, and to read some Klaus/Dorian fic... It's one of the few pairings I've read with almost no knowledge about the people in it and I completely blame Masha (who is most likely dead, either figurative or literally since it's been over two months since I last heard from her) for that. Not too much though, since it is a rather different pairing dynamic than all of the other ones I read and it's always nice to have some variety...

Ugh, it's too hot to think... I'm just going to lay on the carpet and hope it gets cooler soon while thinking of cold things like the Antarctic and polar bears... Please, just let the sun set already...
