I could be watching a new anime, watching the latest episode of [insert name of a show that airs on Thursday], reading more Eroica since I've decided to go and try my hand at translating it, or even reading a fanfic. Hell, I should probably be making more progress on the new Layton or even playing HM: Grand Bazaar because it seems like I've finally gotten the hang of it.

But I'm not.

Instead, I'm here: https://songcontest.nasa.gov/top40.aspx voting for the Star Trek Theme Song and probably will be for at least another half hour. I just can't let those Big Head Todd fans win! I love Star Trek! Outside of the Original Series (and I've seen over half of that), I've seen every single thing of Star Trek. I've even read a good many of the books! I can't say I'm a true "Trekkie" or "Trekker" (so much canon, can't remember it all...) but I'm definitely a bigger fan than most. I try to stay away but I keep coming back to it and throwing a good number of votes its way... *sigh* Somehow, I suspect this is kinda pathetic...

LOL!!!

Just watching this week's Nikita -- is that Stan Lee I spy?

It sounded like him, it looked like him and when I saw his name -- "Hank Excelsior," I knew it had to be him.

*sigh* Sometimes, I wonder if people think I'm a geek. I keep thinking I'm not that big of a geek but when you identify Stan Lee on a random TV show, that's kinda major. Although, that's really due to the fact that I watched the Sci-Fi Channel like crazy (before it was Syfy) and saw all the episodes of Who Wants to Be a Superhero? Which come to think of it, is pretty geeky in itself...

:(

Oregon doesn't have a game this week... Instead, they're playing Thursday against UCLA! A Pac-10 game! Yay! I don't imagine the Bruins will be any match for the #2 ranked team, but a win in our own conference will make it so much better for us if we want to get the BCS or Rose Bowl. Which, I suspect we will since Stanford seriously isn't as good as us. And USC isn't even worth mentioning anymore.

But I guess I will be watching the Oregon State v. Washington game today... Hmm...who should I root for? I'm kinda leaning towards the underdog Washington, especially since I've been watching their games this season...I don't think I've even caught an Oregon State game yet. And truthfully, I've always been more of Ducks fan so the only times I really root for Oregon State is when they're facing places like Boise State or USC...

Right now, I'm thinking about making more onigiri. Ever since I had them yesterday, I've been slightly fixed on them. I crave the taste of them in my mouth. I just want to eat more and more of them. And the fact that I already have the filling all mixed up in the fridge is making me wonder why I'm not making more of them, why I'm not eating them.

But I had lunch. And then I made a snack of cinnamon toast so I'm not exactly hungry right now. I could eat but it'll probably end up ruining dinner. :\ Should I make some tomorrow? I was planning on doing pasta tomorrow because I have mushrooms and they're going to go bad if I don't use them up... Gah, it's so hard to decide! So many yummy foods, only one stomach...

edit x1: Woot! Ohio State is losing! If Oregon beats UCLA on Thursday, we could be #1 in the nation!!!

Wow. And here I thought Oregon State would put up a fight. Apparently not since they're getting slaughtered. It's a good thing I'm rooting for Washington...

My attention is only half on the game though. I watched through the first quarter and then went to Naspev to check out the new roms being released and I saw a new Natsume game (know nothing about it but it's Natsume so I will try it out eventually) and the Super Scribblenauts game so I decided to go and get them. But since Nintendo is getting way too savvy for my very outdated R4, playing these games take a bit of time and work. So, what seems to work is getting the new Wood update to the R4, 1.14.2 but this is kinda hard for me considering the fact that I have no idea what it would do to my old games. Does it do save files different? *shrugs* Who knows. Anyway, it should all work and even if it doesn't, I'll just keep my original dat file just in case and roll it back if I can't get HM: Grand Bazaar or Layton to work. They're really the only two games I'm playing right now anyway...

edit x1: Both games do work, yay, save files are apparently different since I can't access any of my old ones. Now, I have to go and rename them all and hope they work now. Since I had to do this when Kent first got his Acekard, I have high hopes that that is all I have to do and I will have all my save files again.

edit x2: It's going to be a Pac-12? T_T With Colorado and Utah? Why not Boise State?

But fixing the save files has fixed my games! Yay! It all works! I'm not sure I like the way Wood looks (so much Wood) yet but I guess I just need to get used to it. I mean, what did I expect with a name like that? Okay, must blow dry my hair before half-time ends... Damn Oregon State...they seem to have finally woken up.
