Huh, I wonder why QR Codes aren't more popular in the US... It seems like such a cool thing and the advertising applications seem like more than a little awesome. I can so totally see it becoming a thing.

Me, I kinda just want a decoder just so I can read this: http://www.qrcomic.com/ with it. Yeah, I see the "Cheat" link, but seriously, not as cool as actually scanning it and getting a readout there...

So yeah, gave up on Eroica for the day. It was eating my brain. I actually did another panel before giving up so at least there's some progress. I'm only three bubbles from the end of the page but the enthusiasm for it just isn't there so I'm leaving it for tomorrow. Or until it bugs me that I copped out so close to the end and I end up finishing it up an hour from now. *shrugs*

I made okonomi dogs today -- that is, a hot dog with okonomiyaki stuff and it was really good! Hard to eat, but then again, I've always found hot dogs rather hard to eat even if they weren't okonomiyaki-style.

I had kinda played with it before -- with okonomi sauce, Kewpie mayo, and katsuoboshi but this time I went all out and put it all on the hot dog. In addition to the previously listed ingredients, I also quickly pan-fried some cabbage strips to add in and I sprinkled a good amount of anori as well. So tasty! I loved the addition of the cabbage especially -- it had a bright note to the hot dog that it sorely needed.

And now I'm translating. Eroica, but it's going faster now that I'm not translating spy talk -- thank god for that. I think I'm going to do a couple hours of this and then switch over back to Hanagata... At the very least, Hanagata will be balm to my senses, even if the volume I was assigned is a rather depressing and sad one. Hopefully that will recharge my translating batteries.

Outside, it's raining rather heavily... Last night, it sounded like we were being flooded or something but it's not as loud anymore... I seriously hope it stops tomorrow or at the very least, stops for a bit. I'm not sure how much of this rain we can take but I'm not in any hurry to find out...
