It's been released! My first chapter of Hanagata! Yay! It reads really well! I'm so proud and happy... I probably should be working on my fic (I'm in the middle of another Word War) but I can't help but squee at it!
But damn, I should go and do the next chapter. Since we've decided to do a joint and to try and keep one chapter every two weeks, I've been slacking off a bit... But the other person posted their translation of her volume and I posted mine almost two weeks ago... I've done about a third of it already but it was getting violent and I lost interest. Plus, I needed to work on my fic. Gah, NaNo and translating is so hard! I haven't even worked on that Eroica sidestory since this month started... *sigh*
At the very least, I want to get Hanagata out this weekend. But the Word War! *makes a face* It shouldn't take long but I would like to work on it for two more days... One day to finish translating and another to reword, recheck and make sure I got everything... :\
But I've got to write! Right now, I'm at about 800 typed words, although I have some handwritten that I haven't worked in yet. It's for the next scene but somehow, this scene decided to extend itself longer than I had originally planned. But it's good -- I probably do need to address it here but considering it's like 75,000 words into the story, I probably should have mentioned it a lot earlier... It's the backstory that my entire fic is based on (originally planned as a prequel but never got around to writing it). So yeah, that's where I'm at.
Okay, back to fic. I must get to the scene I started handwriting! Hopefully, it won't take too long to wrap up -- I'm more or less at the heart of the scene so it's all just downhill from here. And maybe I can get to work on that translation...
