Nov. 15th, 2010 05:42 pmYou know, after the last six days of reading Blaine/Kurt fics and have them mostly be Darren/Kurt fics, I think I'm ready to say I want to read fics where they're just friends. What I'm craving, and what I suspect I've always been craving because none of the fics really rang true to me (or believeable, as nice -- god they're just so nice -- as they were), are fics where there is a slow build up where we find out more about Blaine and see how they interact together before they're like OMG!LOVE and start dating right away. Obviously, Kurt has a crush but really, how many people get together with someone they're crushing on majorly? While I think Kurt might be one of those people to pursue aggressively (as evidenced by Finn and Sam, though they probably set him back a bit -- obviously not too much since he went after Sam even after the Finn fiasco), I'm not sure Blaine would be receptive to it. Amused, I think he would be.
But really, I know nothing about Blaine aside from the fact that he's obviously very accepting of himself but ran away from his last school because of taunts. That's kinda why I really want tomorrow's episode -- Darren is supposed to be guest starring in it so hopefully we get to see a bit more with him since last's week episode? He was barely in it. But it definitely whet the appetite for more Blaine!
Okay, gonna go wash my hair since it's filthy and then type for the night. I did my FarmVille stuff this morning (woke up early yay! let's hope I sleep early tonight too!), made an okonomiyaki (finally! ^^ had no more eggs for a long while and now I have a dozen -- well, minus one) and then got hungry again and ate a hot dog...last one too...goodbye summer.
I also did dishes, will hopefully clean a little of my room and possibly figure out when I want to hit Starbucks this week. I got my little birthday postcard from them so it's free drink time! I'm thinking my usual of a soy caramel macchiato with toffee nut syrup (I like it extra sweet, hence the extra syrup) or shall I use this opportunity to try something new? Hmm...
edit x1: Also, I've never really realized how much I hate the song BICO until it was used in practically every single Christmas themed Blaine/Kurt fic out there. Also, I hate song fics but being in a Glee fandom seems to mean it's open season on them. Ugh.
