Jan. 19th, 2011 05:52 amOh my god, Being Human US is kinda sorta awesome. At least, I'm enjoying it a lot.
Werewolves, vampires (vampire dynamics!), ghosts, it's like Angel only more serious, less quirky. I am definitely interested in seeing more of this.
I remember watching the first episode of the original version and thinking it was okay but never followed up on it. And seeing this made me curious again so I decided to give it a shot, not expecting much. But I like the characters. And already I'm feeling Aiden/Josh and the Bishop/Aiden pairing vibes are pretty strong, just the way I like it in vampire shows. I'm not the biggest fan of Bishop so I doubt I'll be reading much of their pairing but how can you have vampires and not have sex?
And Josh as a werewolf -- it's like Remus' type of werewolf where they become mindless killers, which I also enjoy.
But I feel kinda bad about liking this show though, since it's probably taking SGU's place next year... Poor SGU...No more Stargate to look forward to or even movies to hope for... It's an end of an era in my life but I guess it had to happen sooner or later. Maybe I'll read books? *shrugs*
