Whoo! A fansub exists of Karigurashi no Arrietty!

I've never even heard of it until right now, that's how out of touch I am with the anime and Japanese world right now. But I was browsing through the stickers on GetGlue and I saw several for it and I thought to myself that that was a very familiar style of animation. And lo and behold, it's a Studio Ghibli work! And you know I enjoy them but really, who doesn't? Is there anyone out there who didn't get swept away by Spirited Away? Or cried during Princess Mononoke? It's sad that it's not Joe Hisaishi isn't doing the music but I suppose that's because it's not really a Miyazaki work even though he wrote the screenplay for it.

I am curious about the dubbed version of it since I originally saw Spirited Away dubbed and still liked it. Later on, I watched it with subs and it was even better (of course) but I never bothered to seek out a dubbed version of Princess Mononoke. I don't know why but I still have no desire to see it dubbed since the subbed version really made an impact in my soul. It will always be my all time favorite animated film -- I bawled like a baby during it. And the music is still the best I've ever heard. I can't help but be swept away by The Legend of Ashitaka to this day...

Anyway, I know Arrietty won't be as good as Spirited Away or Mononoke but I'm downloading it now and I have high hopes that it'll still be an enjoyable watch. It's on the docket for tomorrow so hopefully I'll be able to sneak it in in between FV and fanfics.

Now, I need to sleep. I took an Advil earlier for my massive headache (a good portion of this evening was spent in misery, absolute misery that I hadn't felt for some time) but I need sleep to really fix things. Hopefully it'll reset my mood as well...
