Nov. 2nd, 2012 12:29 amDay 1 of NaNoWriMo is over! I fell short of my personal goal of 3K words but that's okay. At least I was able to get to 2668 words. I'll do some more writing tonight and hopefully by the end of tomorrow, I'll be more around 6K words than not.
Anyway, this is where I'm at:
I always enjoy the calendar widget so I'm glad to be posting it this year. Already, that red for today (it's only been 26 minutes, come on!) is bugging me so I shall be plugging away at my story. I got a little bored of it today while typing it up which is why I didn't quite get to 3K words... I failed to realize that if I'm writing it all out by hand first, that means I have to type it all up eventually and what I'm writing is what I wrote before so it feels like I'm doing double the amount of work for the same payout.
That's not true of course, since I didn't manage to type up all I had written. I only typed up about half the pages and I still ended up getting more out of it because I was able to add in the stuff I wanted to do but had forgotten to. So yay for more words and ugh, for more work.
I stayed up a little late last night to get me over 1666 words so I'm playing for it now. I wonder how late I can stay up tonight feeling so tired right now?
