MTA Strike

This year is just strike happy isn't it? The grad students are still out and now this MTA strike... *shakes head* I seriously will upset if it goes through and come Friday all the transit workers are striking. Subways will be down. Buses out of the question. The traffic -- hell. Now even the taxi drivers are saying that they might stay out of this so less taxis as well.
I'm not even sure if leaving Water on the 7 AM bus (providing it leaves on time) will even make it there... It's a half an hour walk from Water to NYU. It's at 7 AM. I will freeze to death, I think. That kinda of weather, that early in the day, for half an hour? A person can get frostbite!
And as luck will have it, it's supposed to rain on Friday. *cries* It just gets worse and worse...
My professor has already said that if we live within a 20 block radius, we will have to walk. He told people who live near Grand Central to walk the distance! Gah... *makes a face* If I have to walk, and then take that exam, that early in the day, when I walk out of it, I'm going to attack the first MTA worker I see. And as Labrelig was telling me, I'll then end up in jail as the ultimate icing on the cake. So not only will I fail, I'll freeze to death, and end up incarcerated. It's going to be such a great Friday.
This is hell. I seriously hope I'm prematurely overreacting (they still have tomorrow to stop this! I have hope!) but at the same time... :\ I don't know what to do... :\
I heard something funny about it today -- all the money used for terrorism preparation, is now being used for strike preparation. That's nice, isn't it?
I am now eating mini-marshmellows to comfort me as I study.
