Oh, no, I've never thought of you in that way! See, other books that include other languages usually are actually talking in English when the foreign word is introduced... Most of the time in anime stories, they're already speaking in Japanese (as least you assume they are even though it's English) so it loses it's emphasis if you take it with that context...
And also, if the usages is not damaging to the story and the story is otherwise okay, then I usually am more forgiving towards the usage of foreign words... I mean it's a pet peeve, but really the story itself is the most important part but if there's nothing for me to latch onto, then I become harsher in by criticism.
