I tend to avoid museums like that for exactly that reason. Once you get me into one it'll take forever to get me out. Natural history has got to be one of my favorites.
Did you know that they have determined the T-rex to not be a hunter, but more like a scavenger? There was an episode on the Discovery Channel. Very cool.
I adore space exhibits! Surely you must at least be somewhat interested in space travel! Then again, I'm usually fascinated by everything that is science. I just...can't...do...it. -_-;;; *cries*
We have a butterfly conservatory near Detroit too, it's really big and famous. I don't think they have dead butterfly displays anymore actually. If they do, they're really rare. My brother was terrified when we went to one. He hates butterflies, and as the Law of Murphy indicates, they made a point of trying to land on him the most. XD
