Hair...

Okay, what the hell is wrong with my hair?!

It's turning brown! Like brown-brown and not just dark brown that looks pretty black if you don't intently stare at it. It's really starting to freak me out. I've noticed for a while now that I have brownish hair. But in the past it's been still a pretty dark shade of brown so I was never very worried. Now, I'm identifying huge chunks that are just brown in my hair... And it's starting to get really noticeable against my other normal, dark black hair...

God, I hope this isn't a sign that I'm going to be a premature grey... :\

:D Hey, that means you don't have to get it expensively dyed or anything! *jealous*

Hmm... do you swim a lot? My sisters' hair turned that way because of the chlorine since they're on a swim team. Or maybe the sun? *no idea*

Fascinating. I'm going to pose that question on a forum where a lot of experts gather, and tell you what I get. I don't think you're in any danger of turning gray anytime soon however. When hair decides to turn white or gray, it does so. No in betweens. Some hair does change color naturally however. If you're in the sun a lot for instance, it will bleach it. I know that blonde haired people often have their hair color change darker as the years go by, being blonde when they're 20 and then suddenly have it turn dark brown when they're 25. It's probably very natural.

^^; My hair has gotten lighter and more and more brown as I get older... I think it's partially an age thing though it's also sort of a sun exposure thing, since the more you're exposed to sun the lighter it gets, but it's not the same as going grew. ^^;; and grey hairs have a totally different texture, too =P
