I went to K-Mart after class today to get Wheat Thins for Masha but surprisingly, they really didn't have any except the original, the multi-grain and the reduced sodium kind so I just bought a box of the original and multi-grain. I'm going down to the LES this week so I'll pick up some of the other types at Pathmark where I'm sure there's much more variety.

Anyway, since I was in the area, I decided to go to East Village Cheese, which is a really cheap cheese store and is the place were I get my Boursin for only $1.50 per box (!!). I still am amazed at that price. Even after three years, it still hasn't changed. It's absolutely wonderful.

Anyway, I bought some new wheat crackers that I hadn't had before to go with the cheese. They're called Stoned Wheat Thins and I've reached the conclusion that they're nasty and I will never buy them again. I've had way better wheat crackers -- these are just dry and tasteless and just to make it okay, I have to put a lot of cheese on top.

Oh, aside from the cheese, I was able to buy some cheap hummus as well as some Camembert. As I was looking at the different types of cheeses, I saw some nice Camembert for a really cheap price (only $1.79) and in honor of Diana-chan who adores her Camembert, I decided to get some and eat in her name. ^^

East Village Cheese also sells bread and I was very tempted to buy a baguette since they were only $1.49 but I didn't have that much cheese to go with a whole baguette. I did want to buy more cheese but I really had no use for any of it. I would love something soft and spreadable but as much as I adore cheese, I really am not that knowledgeable about it. T_T Someone needs to tell me what is the best cheese and what the best way is to eat those cheese are. Should I just eat them as is in cubes? With crackers or with bread? Should I cook with it? I have no idea. I've been trying to research it but there's only so much you can find out online... :\

One of these days I think I'm just going to go crazy and buy 1/2 pound of everything that looks remotely good and just test them all. With the prices there, it probably wouldn't be that bad price-wise which is always good.
