sherryillkI just realized that I did craptastically on my Japanese chapter test. It's eating me up so much because I actually studied a lot for this test... :( I made stupid, stupid mistakes, which makes it so much harder to stomach because I knew how to do it, I just couldn't freaking read the directions correctly. :(
The first part I totally fucked up. I'm pretty sure, thinking back on it, it was completely in passive causatives but I just put it in passive because I only saw passive in the instructions. But thinking back on it, I think there was the causative word and I just didn't see it. Ugh, this is why you need to be totally awake when doing these exams... :(
I think I did well on the sentences. There was one that I just couldn't remember and it was the word "to receive" and I knew it. I've gone over the vocab so many times that I can practically recite them in the right order but for some reason I blanked on it. I knew it was the word 受 and 取る but I couldn't remember which came first. Or if it was 受け or 受く... I kept thinking it was 受け取る but for some reason, I couldn't shake the 受く取る. In the end, I just left it blank, the entire thing. And I forgot to fill it in at the end! T_T Even if I had gone with 受く取ったイメール (which is wrong, it really should be 受け取ったイメール) for "received email," I could have gotten some points but I'm going to lose the entire thing because it's blank! :(
Not only that, I forgot an "う" in 小説 (damn hiragana...I always write in kanji if I can help it...) and I'm sure I made other stupid mistakes since I always did.
And I think I did the reading wrong... :\ It was confusing and I don't think I put everything in the right places. And there was one kanji that I seriously had no idea what it was and because of that, I had no idea what the sentence was about and I'm pretty sure that was part of question... *sigh* I hate Japanese... And at this rate, I doubt I'll be let into Advanced because I'm just always making these stupid mistakes. Even if I decide not to take Advanced, I would at least like the option of being able to take it...
Gah, this sucks. Still, I feel like I rocked most of the translations part and that is most of the test so maybe it'll be okay? Here's to hoping...
