It was good! It was really good! I wasn't sure about Donna being the new companion but she's hilarious! Then again, she's played by Catherine Tate so I guess I should have expected that. I didn't think she would be so eager to join the Doctor though. I mean did refuse him the first time around. But I guess like everyone else, she's been changed by the Doctor and is now addicted to the adventures he can give you.
Watching made me feel so awesome. It's been so long since I've seen it, seen him, hear him talk that just watching it again was wonderful. I really do love David Tennant as the Doctor. I always get a chill when I hear him get all serious. He's always so jovial and so scatty that when he slows down and gets all serious and scary-like, it make me totally wibble inside.
And now that I've watched the episode, I'm onto Torchwood! I had thought I had caught up to episode 12 but apparently I was only caught up to 11... :( Oh well, I'll just go and watch 12 and then 13. I feel kinda silly now because I said on
felisblanco's LJ that I was caught up to 12 and didn't know Captain John was back which doesn't make sense because he shows up on episode 12. *head hits desk* Oh well, honest mistake. Ish. Last week kinda went by really quickly so I guess I didn't get my dose of Torchwood. It doesn't suck as much as the first season but I still haven't gotten much motivation to go and watch it. For one thing, I'm not really a fan of any of the characters on it. Another, the development of Jack and Ianto kinda pisses me off a bit. And after no more Captain John from the first episode, well, it just didn't seem as awesome anymore. I mean. How can anyone go from man on man kissing involving John Barrowman and James Marsters to just a normal Torchwood episode with the occasional John/Ianto action. Since I've never supported the pairing, it's hard seeing them together... I don't know, there's just something about Ianto that I've never liked so I just can't see him with Jack. Not when John, even though out of the picture, is a hundred times cool.
Okay, back to the episode! ^^ The anticipation of more Captain John is making me as tingly as the anticipation of new Doctor Who did earlier today. ^^
