TV talk

I'm getting all these het ideas popping up today...

First, Cary/Kalinda from the Good Wife. Ah, there has been hints of it in the past couple of episodes and it just keeps on building. There's something about Cary that I just like, even if he's rather cutthroat... But it makes sense and I like the idea of the mysterious Kalinda and the pragmatic (read: cynical) Cary getting together...

And then it was Olivia and Ashok from SVU. I know Naveen Andrews is only there as a guest for that one episode (hopefully more!), but there was something between the two of them. And there's the fact that Naveen is cute and his character is one I gravitate towards naturally... I mean, he's a confused rich kid trying extremely hard not to be his parents.

Lastly, I just had the idea of Veronica and Harris from Mercy. I'm not even sure why I'm still watching Mercy since I have doubts about whether or not it's going to be back next season but I'm watching it. The latest episode didn't have anything even remotely relating to Veronica and Harris (I don't think they even had speaking lines with each other this episode) but it just occurred to me that they would be an interesting couple. Although, they're pretty much both on the rebound, him with his dead wife and she with her broken marriage... It's strange, because I was pretty much rooting for Veronica and Mike even though I really like Chris too (lots of love for James Tupper from Men in Trees) and I have no idea what to root for anymore aside from the fact that I think Veronica and Harris harping and snarking at each other for the end of time would be hilarious. Even if they kinda hate each other and are mortal enemies. I mean, that's what makes it fun! But I always root for the married couple, always, so... Who knows? It probably won't be an issue next year...

I don't even want to talk about Private Practice. The Grey's Anatomy episode this week? *sigh* It just cemented the fact that I have absolutely no interest in GA anymore and it's all about PP. And the relationships in PP make my head spin... I don't like Addison with Mark, I'm not liking Addison with Sam (it just seems wrong, like incest wrong), and they're screwing with my favorite pairing of Charlotte and Cooper that it just feels painful... They're both horrible, but I'm still hoping they'll realize they really do love each other and they get through it but the stuff they said... Oh my god, that was horrible. The only comforting part of it all was the fact that that if they're able to hurt each other so easily, they must feel something for the other, right?

Ugh, this whole thing was rambly. I'm going to cut it just that for that.
