Rewatching Initial D from the beginning, I can't help but thinking, "Ahhh, as I thought, Initial D is the coolest~!"

There's just something so incredibly cool about car racing. And of course, the Eurobeat music used always gets me hyped up.

Not to mention Ryosuke. And Keisuke. *sigh* When I first saw him, I let out a pretty loud "KYA." There's just something about him that makes me adore him so.

Then there's the fact that it probably has my favorite three seiyuus -- Miki Shinichirou, Koyasu Takehito and Seki Tomokazu. I love their voices, especially Koyasu Takehito's voice whom I've loved all the way back to Bronze. And with Bronze being the first manga that I read that hurt me that much, he and Sho Hayami will always stand out for me, no matter what series they're in.

I wonder if I can love the Initial D manga as much as I've loved the anime? I've always avoided the TokyoPop releases since they did weird things with the translation but scanlations are usually a lot more faithful and respectful. Maybe I should go and check them out... With all those volumes, it might be worth it.

edit x1: I think I might have fallen just a little bit in love with Ryosuke again. I can't get over how incredibly cool he is. And awesome, you can't forget that.
