sherryillkOkay, I need me a burst of writing right now! I didn't realize I might not have time tomorrow so I need to get everything done for today like now, before I get to bed. I'm currently at 4400ish words -- wanna get another 1000 words or else I'll be at a bad place... Technically, I should be at 3334 words by the end of the second day but because I was already above that, the Nano website says I need 1601 words for today for it not be an "unsuccessful day."
That would need to put me at about 5200 words by midnight and if things end up going badly tomorrow, there won't be any time to write at all before the midnight deadline. Plus, I'm determined not to have any bad days this year. Last year I didn't realize how they were calling good or bad days but this time I'm not a newbie and I'm not going to let it trip me up. I can't imagine actually writing every single day but I figure if I put in good days every day in the beginning, it'll get less strenuous and taxing in the latter weeks. But this does put a small crinkle in my plans. Oh well, what's done is done -- I'll deal with it with an extra productive day on Wednesday if it comes to that.
And shit, at this rate I might actually catch the election tomorrow. I'm not sure that's a good thing or not... :\
edit x1: Oh my god, I think I'm going to do my first sex scene! o.O That was not quite in the plans for tonight but it seems to work so I'm going with it. Here's to hoping it won't suck!
edit x2: Okay, yeah, now I'm freaked out. I can't do this! And I've stalled at 4800 words! That's four hundred more that I need in the form of X rated literary porn! Seriously, how does one do this? Is it easier after you've popped your explicit sex scene cherry? O.O Yeah, freaking out a lot here...
