Glee was once again, mostly disappointing. Aside from the BICO scene, we get one Blaine/Kurt scene right before it and a small one right afterward. I'm very much inclined to think of it all as one scene actually... And that was it for the entire episode. I had a feeling it would be like that but the fact that it was actually just that one scene made me intensely disappointed.
And I still don't quite like BICO. I hate the original song, I hate Kurt's voice in the song and I'm not quite sure I like Darren in it either... But it does have him and they were cute so I guess the fact that I hate the song isn't as bad? *shrugs* And I guess I can chalk the awkwardness of Kurt to him not wanting it be known to his crush that he's in love with him? Probably?
And that's the one saving grace -- Kurt admitted his feelings! Yay for canon! And he can't dislike Dalton that much if he thinks the students are nicer there and that he loves Blaine, right? What I would adore is some more information to be revealed about Dalton but I'm not sure that's going to happen with any sort of depth... :\
As for the rest of the show, eh... On a whole, I generally dislike Christmas songs. And god there were so many of them... Some of them, I hadn't even heard of before listening to the Christmas album (BICO beings one of them)... Most of them didn't feel organic (as the show seems to like saying -- keyword for any possible Blaine/Kurt relationship) and the side stories...Well, okay, Sue is humanized a bit more. And I think that's it? *shrugs* I feel like I should care less now that it seems like they're determined to drag on this Blaine/Kurt thing for forever.
I think this is the last episode before hiatus? Actually, there are a ton of shows going on hiatus... Whatever will I do? But I think the summer shows start coming back since I saw Eureka premiering (is it considered a premiere?) today... I guess this means I should spend more time translating? Ugh, just not in the mood for it at all... :( But I need to get my act together and get something done already... :\
I did about half my Christmas shopping today... All I need to do now is confirm some details and do the rest of them. Joy. Spending money is such a double edged sword. I love giving gifts but spending money on them hurts. I suspect that's the same way it is for everyone else. Or at least most people.
