sherryillkGlee...Well, the Dalton song was out of nowhere. I didn't really expect it to be anything else but still, kinda out of place. And even though I had spoiled myself on that part, I still thought it was their worst performance so far. At least with the others, they were better at lip-synching the Beelzebubs parts but this one was not working for me at all... The coffee part -- loved it but it was too short! And Blaine and Kurt at the game was like a blink and you miss it sort of thing. Still, not as disappointed as I thought I would be, which is nice.
Oh, and the whole part where Kurt says he brings Finn warm milk every night? WHAT?! Does he or doesn't he live in the dorms at Dalton? I mean, he said he felt bad that he hadn't talked to Finn since the wedding which would make sense if they weren't living together because he was at Dalton but this? What? I'm so confused...
Finn and Quinn getting back together? Kinda out of left field. Not sure I like it or not... I don't hate it though but that's because I'm not the biggest fan of Sam and I hate Rachel...
Karofsky...Well, I'm warming up to him. But I still don't like the idea of Kurt and him together, no matter what all those people who ship them say.
And I liked all the songs! I didn't spoil myself in that respect...Well, I knew about Bills, Bills, Bills and Thriller but that's about it. That song with just the football guys? LOVED IT! And the other song, well, it was good. More and more, I'm enjoying the songs featuring Lea Michele less and less.
In regards to the fake Ford commercial, I can't help but feel sorry that Chris Colfer wasn't featured... :( If it was a daydream sequence, couldn't they have justified it that way and allowed him to be part of it? *sigh* Not nice and not cool.
Anyway, I was captivated and interested the entire time! I wasn't too bored or impatient during the commercials (maybe because I was already telling myself to have low expectations?) and I didn't have any urges to skip some moments which is a rarity for me and Glee. And now I'm looking forward to Tuesday's episode! I mean, yay! Another episode in TWO DAYS!! That makes me happy so much! ^^
After the show, I went out and bought me some garlic since I ran out making hummus last week. But this time, I'm going to do a roasted garlic hummus! Double yum! With Wheat Thins! ^^ It promises to be epic! The clerk ran up my garlic wrong as green onions which miffed me but it was only a buck extra so I didn't feel like going back inside to get it fixed. Still, I'm a bit miffed. :\ But the thought of roasted garlic and hummus makes up for it!
Okay, now I'm off to LJ since I've been avoiding it like crazy. Read a few fics, maybe watch some Stargate SG-1... A few days ago, I caught the last third of an episode on Syfy (yeah, I'm like Leonard, I can't really get used to it either). It was the episode where they accidentally get labeled as rebels and taking hostages at a private function at an alien planet. It's one of my favorite episodes and it reminded me just how much I LOVE SG-1...in ways that SGA never captured my heart. So I went back, dug out my DVDs and I found all my favorite episodes... Urgo, the fake foothold situation, evil SG-1 with multiple realities, alternative dimensions, time travel! And I went and rewatched a lot of season 6. One of my favorite epsiodes, Sight Unseen was within this season and I'd been looking for it forever but never could find it. I would search and search and search but never find it.
Then it occurred to me last night that it might be in the season that should not be mentioned... Up until last year? I had never made and effort to watch Season 6 -- as in sometimes I would catch it on TV but that's about it. I still haven't watched Meridian. And because of that, I hadn't watched enough of that season to actually remember where certain episodes fit in... So I did that last night and it was fun. God, it just makes me want to read fics about Daniel's return from Ascension so badly... I wonder if there is a list anywhere?
