It's always something, isn't it? First no power. Then no internet. Then today, no power again.

This time, it was for six hours though. I slept through most of it though since it was in the early morning. I will say this, it is a bit strange to see the entire street dark and then see little bits of light flashing in some of the houses, presumably because the occupants were awake and making their way around with flashlights.

I ended up playing Layton for half an hour (got through an entire chapter! I'm almost finished with the game!) and then going to bed since there didn't seem to be a point in staying awake. I woke up every so often though but the lack of time on my digital clock told me that this outage was surprisingly long...

I can only assume it was another ice related outage since yesterday was all about the ice storm and freezing rain. Thankfully, today it's just been raining so I'm guessing we've finally transition to all rain, as they have been predicting. I had thought this would be the end of it, but apparently, there's yet another Winter Weather Advisory warning for us for tomorrow for some more snow... No ice accumulation (thank god, ice is a bitch to deal with, I've basically been a hostage in my house for the last two days because it was too hazardous to travel), but a few inches of snow apparently. This winter storm isn't done with us yet!

edit x1: Spoke too soon. I definitely hear some sleet mixed in with that rain...
