I'm watching the Men Quarterfinals of the Australian Open right now and I can't help but long for their weather just a bit.
It snowed today. And actually, it snowed a bit more than I had been expecting actually. They had predicted 4-8" early last night, revised it to more around 1-3" but I thought we weren't going to get even that. So it was a bit of a surprise to wake up and seeing about and inch, possibly two of snow on the ground. But then the rain came in and it melted most of it away...
I think that's all the snow we're going to get for a while. But truthfully, snow is better than ice any day. This sort of weather is getting a little tiring -- especially having to shovel snow from the drive way and from the walkways day after day. Not really into that, to be frank.
And shit, I just realized, I should have done the front. :\ Well, it's too late now. I was being a bit lazy today so I guess it's biting me in the ass right now. *sigh*
Whatever, I'll deal with it later.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure Nishikori has no chance in hell of beating Murray since he's kinda awesome but I can't help but root for him anyway. It's been a while since an Asian even made it this far and I'm always there, hoping for their success. Plus, it doesn't hurt that his ass is damn fine... Not the cutest boy but he seems rather earnest and he really works hard at getting points, even if doesn't seem to win most of them. I want to watch his match with Tsonga, I bet that would be really fun...
Truthfully, my mind is half on fanfics and half on how I should be shoveling to really enjoy this match (doesn't help that it's not particularly close and I suspect Nishikori is going to lose in straight sets) but I'm hopefully going to plough through it.
