Of course Recyclebank is offering a year's subscription to Entertainment Weekly (52 issues!!) for 250 points. OF COURSE THEY ARE. Because I just got my first issue of my PAID subscription to EW!!!

OTL

Now I don't want to cancel because I'm not sure I'm going to get a refund (I actually only paid $2 for the year, so I could write it off) but EW doesn't appear on Recyclebank all the often, and I have 51 issues left of my current subscription... I can only hope in a year, they'll still be offering it and I can renew my subscription for free instead of having to pay actual money for it.

But I guess if any of you (I think they only accept US addresses though) want EW for a year, I would definitely recommend Recyclebank. It takes no time to rack up enough points for free magazines. I currently have over 1000 points gathered over the last two months, which I had been thinking about exchanging for My Coke Reward points, which coincidentally, I was going to exchange for future EW subscriptions. OTL Yeah, I'm a bit obsessed with EW (why do they cover Glee so much? And Darren?! And why can't I buy it locally?!). But it actually takes a ton of MCR points to get any sort of reward so EW for only 250 points is pretty much a steal. Sure, it's like 100 points more than any other magazine they have but it's also the only weekly magazine they offer... And it's so easy to get points on Recyclebank that it doesn't even matter.

Oh, if only I had waited two weeks... I knew Recyclebank had offered Sports Illustrated before but not EW... :\ It would have been so much easier to get it from Recyclebank because the place I'm getting it now is one of those introductory $2 for the first year and it's an auto-renewal at full price after that so I have to remember to cancel my subscription before they bill me next year. This, I could just let the subscription elapse without worry since Recyclebank doesn't ask for any sort of payment info... Life could have been easier...

Interesting enough, they're also offering a year's subscription of People en Espanol... If it were regular People, I probably would have jumped on that offer. But damn, I'm getting way too many magazines right now. I should probably stop. :\
