My mom picked up how to use the iPad super quickly. She only uses it to watch Apple Daily News, go online, and check email though. On her iPhone, she only makes calls and Whatsapps XD It's amazing how intuitive Apple devices are. I still can't get her to learn how to turn on a computer and use a desktop browser to go online.
